Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) appeared on Fox News Hannity this week to discuss the origins of the Steele dossier. He said it should really be called the Simpson dossier. Although Christopher Steele likely contributed stories to the dossier, and his years of experience in British intelligence lent credence to the document, Nunes believes that Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson may actually have written the majority of it.
In his book Spygate, journalist Dan Bongino makes the same case. He points out the striking similarities between articles Simpson and his wife, Mary Jacoby wrote for the Wall Street Journal in 2007 and 2008 and the Steele dossier.
The Tablets Lee Smith promoted this theory in a lengthy, but fascinating, December 2017 article.
One of Simpson and Jacobys articles, entitled How Lobbyists Help Ex-Soviets Woo Washington, was written on April 17, 2007. It discussed the growing trend of wealthy foreigners, Russians in particular, to hire influential Washington insiders as lobbyists, for help with legal troubles or simply to be introduced to the citys rich and the powerful. Included in their list of American lobbyists and fixers is Paul Manafort.

If Deep State would do this to a candidate, a president-elect, a sitting president why wouldn’t they do it to Congressmen, Senators, Supreme Court justices...
My bet is they’ve been doing this to a lot of people for quite a while...
And Wes Clark the perfumed prince was also a General who owed his meteoric rise through the ranks to his usefulness in adding much-needed military cred to a Democratic ticket.
It would be well-deserved and worth a look no doubt.
Huber is part of the Deep State ( Obama hold over).
“It is the entrenchment of the last 16 years that is proving to be a problem.”
More like 30 years of entrenchment. George H.W. Bush took office in 1989. He purged the Reagan conservatives put in place over the previous 8 years and replaced them with squishy establishment moderates. Eight years of Bill Clinton allowed the leftists to become entrenched by design and the degradation of the military officer ranks to begin. George W. Bush did not purge the leftists and continued to rely on squishy moderates. Barack Obama came to office with the intention of fundamentally transforming American. He and his team purposefully put hard core leftists in any position he could, with the cooperation of go along Republicans such as McCain, Flake, Corker, Collins, Murkowski and a few others. During his last few months in office Obama converted a number of appointed positions to permanent bureaucracy positions in order to ensure his people would remain entrenched. The GOP didn’t make an effort to stop it even with control of both houses of Congress.
Trump came to office unprepared to take on the bureaucracy. Unlike most previous presidents, whose transition team had people identified and ready to be appointed, Trump and his transition head Christie were clearly unprepared to staff the government. Christie was soon fired by Trump and Trump spent the first few months of his administration scrambling to find people and get them through a Senate where the Democrats were using every trick possible to slow the process. Even today, Trump has not made appointment to all positions. In addition many of his appointments were squishy establishment moderates who are not aggressively advancing his agenda. You can’t drain the swamp without your own plumbers.
Ted Kennedy said that fellow travelers: Walter Cronkite and Barbara Walters were willing to travel to Moscow during the Cold War to meet with Yuri Andropov.. to promote treason against America.
The FBI probably started going more rogue under WJC's administration; gathered up the CIA as it gathered steam under the distracted Bush administration...Obama and his administration is being uncovered today showing the corrupt cabal fighting for their lives inside and outside of government...showing the BHObama administration was never scandal free.
Remember when Communist John Brennan used the CIA to spy on congress?
The CIA didnt just spy on the Senate, they specifically spied on Senators who sat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, the group tasked with oversight of the CIA.
Basically they ( Obama, too.) were trying to gain control of the committee by digging up dirt on them, so that their oversight capability was hobbled through blackmail.

hoping we will witness the fall of the clintonista regime
thanx for connecting dots
Yup. “Enemy of the State” was prescient.
I so want him to do time. I’d love the Bamsters too but don’t see squishy Americans accepting that. I’d settle for The Evil Pantsuit.
Wesley Clark also received a large six figure salary from GRLD, a cutout company that at its peak was valued at over $100 million. Its assets? At its peak, 14 trucks that sold “gourmet” grilled sandwiches. Average trading volume? Less than 300 shares per day. Money laundering everywhere you look.
Of course, since the company no longer trades, it’s been scrubbed from most financial web site databases.
Soviet spy Alger Hiss
I want an investigation if there was spying and blackmail of SC Roberts. SEEMS A LOT MORE PROBABLE NOW.
They werent targeting Trump, they were targeting Russia, but Russia was targeting Trump.
Republicans like Nunes need to learn when to shut up and that would be now. This will only be used as a scape goat for those that attempted this coup. Stop giving them ideas and other people to lay blame. Prosecute, prosecute, prosecute. Long jail sentences must happen.

And now, Valerie Plame is running for Congress!
Youre wrong.
Only Trump was dangerous to them .
