De Blasio holds press conference at Trump Tower — and gets heckled

Supporters of Donald Trump disrupted Mayor Bill de Blasio’s press conference in Trump Tower on Monday while he announced a potential $2 million in fines facing the president’s real estate company if it doesn’t comply with the city’s new “Green New Deal” building emissions standards — by 2030.

“Worst mayor ever,” read one sign held by a protester as the mayor rode up and down an escalator.

Other supporters loudly booed and whistled as de Blasio tried to shout over the din.

“This is bull—t,” Juliet Germanotta, 37, told The Post as she displayed an “LGBT for Trump” banner behind the mayor’s podium.

De Blasio told his backers and the hecklers, “Clearly the Trump Organization is a little sensitive to the fact that we’re calling them out for what they are doing to the climate but we are not backing down.”

I notice when the Democrats have a spontaneous grass roots gathering, they all show up with the same mass-produced signs to wave ... almost like their labor union orchestrated the whole thing and is paying them to do a little campaigning.

The Trump people in the background, on the other hand, look like they grabbed paper and markers and actually expressed how they really felt.

One of the most remarkable side stories about Election Night in 2016 was the large crowd of Trump supporters that had gathered outside Trump Tower when his victory started to become a reality. Even in a Marxist dump like NYC there are still quite a few "Deplorables" to be found.

It was a beautiful thing to see.

Leftists are so intellectually brain dead and unable to think for themselves that they cannot come up with an individually conceived idea or slogan. After all these years, when you see liberals get together, someone has to print their signs for them. They still chant the same chants such as "Hey, hey, Ho, Ho, blah blah blah blah has to go!" and so on.

I am reminded of this hilarious satirical book:

I have been to a fair number of demonstrations, and have noticed the stark difference in the way participants on both sides express themselves through both in-demonstration behavior, and the signs carried to express their point of view.

I took the time to document it a couple of years ago as shown below. I took two pictures, one showing a large gathering of liberals, and one showing a large gathering of conservatives.

Here is an example of what the liberal protesters carry when they want to make a point. This analysis was from the Antiwar protesters at The Gathering of Eagles on March 17, 2007. What you see in this picture is absolutely, 100% TYPICAL.

Here is an example of what the conservative protesters carry when THEY want to make a point. This analysis was from the Taxpayer March on Washington on 9/12/2009. What you see in this picture is absolutely, 100% TYPICAL.

Conservatives not only show wit and originality in the content of the materials they use to express themselves, but also spend time making them both readable and legible. They take pride in their handiwork, and they can do this because they have a deeper understanding of the issue at hand.

Liberals often have mass printed signs that lack originality and wit in an attempt to ensure everyone has a sign (created by someone else) that says something that the "someone else" want them to express. When you see liberals carrying their own handmade signs, they often look like this, poorly lettered and shallow in content:

I have seen this contrast over and over again. What I have concluded from this is that while liberals may have some form of conviction about a subject, it is because they want to believe something they have been told without thinking it through. Most of them have an "understanding" of an issue that is a foot wide and a fraction of an inch deep. They will doggedly stay within that framework regardless of facts and logic, and their expression of that viewpoint in their signs and banners illustrates a lack of depth, understanding and originality.
