Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., has made yet another shocking and historically ignorant claim: That thinking about the Holocaust gives her a "calming feeling" because her Palestinian ancestors provided a "safe haven" for Jewish victims of the tragedy.
Tlaib, a close ally of Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., who is no stranger to anti-Semitic controversies herself, made the latest statement on a podcast called "Skullduggery" in an episode titled "From Rashida with Love."
"Theres always kind of a calming feeling I tell folks when I think of the Holocaust, and the tragedy of the Holocaust, and the fact that it was my ancestors Palestinians who lost their land and some lost their lives, their livelihood, their human dignity, their existence in many ways, have been wiped out, and some people's passports," Tlaib said just after the 28 minute mark. "And just all of it was in the name of trying to create a safe haven for Jews, post-the Holocaust, post-the tragedy and the horrific persecution of Jews across the world at that time. And I love the fact that it was my ancestors that provided that, right, in many ways. But they did it in a way that took their human dignity away and it was forced on them.

Will the Left’s Antisemitism make Hollywood stop denigrating white male heterosexuals 24 hours a day? If so, I’m willing to tolerate it for now.
Yeah, her “ancestors” were there at the docks waving big Star of David flags and tossing flowers to the Jews arriving.
Back in the old days there was an area called Philistia and one called Phoenicia that were independent of the land David conquered. The total area of Philistia was less than the area of the modern Gaza strip. I guess from that stand point the Arabs today now claim that all of Israel was once Palestine.
to whoever elected this hateful anti-Semite, American hating muslim- what the hell were you thinking? SHAME ON YOU!
She was elected by other hateful anti-Semite America hating Muslims. Parts of this country are teeming with them.

Sheesh,
Arabs were killing Jews in the 1940s too, she and her evil supporters should realize.
Not long ago, within my lifetime, the House of Reps would have ejected the blood-thirsty Tlaib.
There are no words. I have seen a lot of the documentaries and have read a lot on the camps. There were times that people were put in the ovens - alive.
Typical violent Democrat.
