No Senate Intelligence Committee Republicans Publicly Stand Up for Richard Burr’s Rogue Donald Trump Jr. Subpoena

These Senate offices include Sens. John Cornyn (R-TX), who is up for re-election in Texas in 2020; Tom Cotton (R-AR), Susan Collins (R-ME), Ben Sasse (R-NE), Roy Blunt (R-MO), Marco Rubio (R-FL), and Jim Risch (R-ID).
Not one of those senators would publicly stand by Burr on Wednesday evening, when asked where they stand both on the subpoena and on whether Burr should remain chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee. Not only has the entire Senate Intelligence Committee GOP membership basically abandoned defending Burr publicly, it appears no Republicans anywhere have his back on this.
What’s more, while Burr himself and his committee have not replied to requests for comment from Breitbart News about his decision to go rogue on McConnell’s claim the investigation is “case closed” by issuing the subpoena to the president’s son, sources familiar with the matter tell Breitbart News that the senator and his staff have been completely shell-shocked by the reaction to the news of their move to issue the subpoena.

The GOP is what it is. Basically they are the lesser of two evils, which is the only thing that keeps the party alive.
I wish Trump would start a new party that represents conservative interests and principles. The GOP certainly doesn’t and never will.
It says something when even Trump haters like willard and murcowski are quiet. When the turtle talks, they listen.
Burr has always impressed me as a stupid dullard being led by the nose by warner. He apparently thinks this will get him some votes from independents in purplish NC.
Looks like Rand Paul is the only decent Senator in the GOP.

Also, please note that the demorats and the repubicans actually issue subpoenas against Republicans, while they only threaten to issue them against demorats and gop-e criminals.

This is outrageous. No one cares about the Trump Hotel that was not build in Moscow. NO ONE!! This is fishing for a process crime. Jr. sat for 20 hours with Mueller. This is OVER!! Closed. I want this subpoena quashed . I want Burr removed from this committee by McConnell.. STOP THIS . We won the election!!
This move is so unusual and extraordinary it begs the question whether Burr played a part in the coup attempt.
Burr could simply withdraw his subpoena, couldn’t he?
The Mueller report says Burr leaked some stuff to the WH. People are speculating that Warner is using this to blackmail Burr into subpoena Trump Jr.
I’ve said for two years that our situation is not R vs D. It’s R and D vs Trump. They are just playing “good cop, bad cop”.
