The previous spouse would have needed to be in a booster seat.

A lot of the old Korean ladies we saw in Columbus, GA may not even be 4’9”.

I once saw a pronouncement by some safety Nazi group pushing back seats until the age of 16.

I kind of wondered how the chillens would learn to drive.

What idiocy.

I lead a boys adventure group where we routinely take 11-17 year old boys camping and on other trips, sometimes even the younger boys. I couldn’t imagine having to outfit a van with 11 booster seats.

...Booster seats would be necessary until children reach 4 feet 9 inches tall.

I would have been in a booster seat in 8th grade - 4’8”

And this clown Inslee wants to be president!? The world is upside down. It’s a joke, but stupid people don’t laugh at themselves.

The posts on this thread are giving me some much-needed laughter; much funnier than the mega-buck late night comedians.

The state’s pygmy community is planning a lawsuit.

This is only what is reported. I live in WA and some of the weird stuff to come out of Olympia is down right scary. The state symbol should be a diaper.

A booster seat is for positioning the safety belt. Redesign the damn safety belt so it can be positioned properly.

OR make the back seat rise to a proper height.

Airline seats should work perfectly for people that size.

Lots of small cars already seem optimized for the under 5 foot crowd and won’t have room for a booster the same size as existing back seat.

I don’t suppose they talked to any auto makers before passing this law.

Jeez, I would have bee suck in a booster seat in my freshman year. How humiliating.

I have a Chinese friend who lives in Portland.
When they passed this for Oregon, I asked her if she needed a special car seat.
It didn’t go well.
