The five-year-old boy thrown from the third floor of the Mall of America is amazing his doctors.
According to Mac Hammond, a pastor at the family's church, the boy recently underwent a five-hour MRI test. FOX 9 obtained a video of Pastor Hammond's Easter service in which he provides an update on the boy's condition.
"There was zero evidence of brain damage - there wasn't even swelling," Hammond said. "No spinal chord injury, no nerve damage, no internal injuries that were life-threatening."
Hammond said that the boy did suffer several broken bones.
The pastor also said a doctor compared the boy's injuries to falling off a bicycle rather than falling three stories.

Of course that number is skewed by the number of people who, say, trip over a curb or a cat and hit their head. It doesn’t take all that many ‘zero’ distance falls to move the reported average down...

I am also very skeptical from a scientific perspective. But perhaps God performed a miracle.
Yep. It’s amazing to see how many elderly people become focused on their own mortality and frailty, when they could be free of such fears.
We are stunned, as we get older, how many of our friends seem to live by the drugs their doctor prescribes. The only drugs I take, and extremely rarely, are aspirin and, the miracle drug, Dayquil.
I know my body won’t last forever, and that is fine. And seeing how fast the weeks, months and years go by, the older you get, I’m reminded of what one person said a while back:
“People shouldn’t worry about old age. It doesn’t last that long.”
I went morel mushroom hunting on our 32 acres with my daughter Sunday before our Easter dinner. We only got four, but what a great and truly beautiful hike.

The pastor can’t violate patient privacy he is not a healthcare worker. Presumably his parents gave permission to him to share information with the congregation but either way the pastor is not subject to HIPAA

Looking at the picture, I would believe the floor level of the 3rd floor is 39 feet, add the railing height, and the fact he was thrown and you are talking more...
