At least 137 people were killed and hundreds more injured as several churches and hotels were rocked by simultaneous explosions on Easter Sunday in Sri Lanka.
Eight explosions took place, including in three Christian churches and three hotels, some commonly used by foreign visitors. In addition to those who were killed at least another 500 were wounded, according to officials with police, the Colombo Hospital and St. Sebastian Church.
There were at least nine foreigners among the dead in Colombo, according to the officials. Two dual citizens of the U.S. and U.K. were among the dead, as well as one Portuguese citizen and two U.K. citizens, according to the Sri Lankan Ministry of Foreign Affairs. One American was also among the missing. All of the foreigners died in attacks on hotels.
President Donald Trump sent his condolences to the country in an early morning tweet from Mar-a-Lago, where he is spending the Easter holiday. He accidentally wrote "138 million people" were killed, however.

Noticeably absent in the ABC News report was the word “Islamic”.
You see, it is afterall, the religion.
Which is Bull 💩...
Dutch news reporting Buddists are responsible.
Unexpectedly.
Tamil Tigers. 207 dead now.
Well, the day is still young in the USA...and lots of church services to go.
Hopefully, some people don’t do something here at home...
That was my thought. Diligence required by the folks at the doors.
Noticeably absent in the ABC News report was the word Islamic.

Nope, there wasnt. But isnt it interesting that this ABC News article includes this 2-sentence paragraph:
Buddhism is the most common religion in Sri Lanka. National Christian Evangelical Alliance of Sri-Lanka documented the growing number of attacks on Christians in 2018, saying there were 67 from January to September.
I wonder if ABC News is trying to induce a certain belief in their readers by their interesting choice to relate those two sentences by including them in that same paragraph? /sarc
Did they specifically name the Religion of Pieces?
I must have missed that....but, I admit I didn’t click on the link.
Several Christian churches blown up on Easter by groups of mulsims: brief mention and them into the memory hole.
More electrical fires?
I find that hard to beleive. Militant Buddhism isn’t a thing of any note. Where it does exist (sort of) it’s been mostly directed at saying “intolerant” things about Muslims killing or maiming their people and saying they wish them to be gone. Blowing up churches? That would be totally new and very out of character historically.
Precisely.
Where is the outcry and rage about these murderers from the “moderate” moozlums? moozlums are either “activists” who go around murdering innocents or they are go-along-to-get-along moozlums who sit back in agreement with their terrorist brothers...ands gripe about being victims. moozlums who follow their “holy” book want you either subjugated or dead. Happy Easter!
Don’t ever mistake my silence for ignorance, my calmness for acceptance, or my kindness for weakness.
You could be right.
Was there another short in the elevator?
