Around 13,000 years ago, the Earth burned. A swarm of comet debris from the Taurid meteor stream had blasted the Americas and parts of Europe; the worst day in prehistory since the end of the ice age. Many species of large animal were exterminated by the conflagration and ensuing cataclysms. And those that survived the initial onslaught could do little against the floods, acid rain, and starvation that followed.

Author has peer reviewed book on the theory that Gobekli Tepe monoliths can be read as representing constellations and the destruction caused by multiple comets hitting Earth memorialized by survivors.

Too bad the geological record does not record any such event.

According to those who buy it they hit mile thick ice sheets and air bursts, leaving only scattered indication of their presence.
I can see the feasibility of such an occurrence.

Where is the proof?
There should be holes in the ground, burned forests, iridium all over the place................

These comet strikes wouldnt be an extinction level event like the asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs, so there would be little in the way of geological evidence.

Too bad the geological record does not record any such event.Yeah, you would think there would be a bunch of circular depressions probably filled with water by now.

Carolina Bays and Nebraska Platte River depressions point to Saginaw Bay, Wisconsin as epicenter of one of the impacts. The ice was a mile thick there/then and ejecta was made up of ice.
There’s iridium all over the world at the 13,000 year level of soil.
The Clovis flint knap arrow point making indians all perished at this time.
