It's that time of year again . . .
Once again I fought the idea of having the shoot in the same place as the previous year. But after some convincing talk from humblegunner, I agreed that he was right and the TCMS has found a home.
The shoot will be on September 28 at https://www.hicksvillegunrange.com/
We have reserved Cherokee Village, http://cherokeevillageresort.com/ from September 26th ~ 29th. Please make your reservations by June 30th.
As usual there will be lots of food, fun, drinks, Scrabble and darts!
Bang!
Are y’all still having those things?
Got me!
And firearms. Don't forget the firearms. At the range, of course.
Hi.... the links in the article don’t seem to be working.

This year I will not be at the shoot. I will be out West with some friends of mine from England. They are geologists as I, I am also a pharmacist and pilot. We will be running up and down mountains and looking at rocks. Actually at our advanced age we will be slowly walking up small mountains and looking at rocks. Next year I will most happily be cooking for the gang.

If you will buy a bunch of BBQ from a good place I shall most happily pay for it. I want to do this! Buy what you need and tell me the cost. Also, after “you-all” eat it, fire up good cigars for me and post the pics. This would please me.
I take this trip every two years with my friends from England. One year I go to England and the next year they come here. Unfortunately it landed on the date of the Texas Cowboy Shoot. This is probably my last trip with my friends from England on journeys to the West. They will still visit in the future at my home.
ps
I have retired my pharmacy license, I am old and do not want to work anymore. I have renewed my instructors rating and now just teach kids how to fly, and that is not work! I love doing this.
Kind Regards to the Texas Cowboy Gang.
I’ve got guns to bring this time. M-1 carbine and a Smith 9mm.
Unless I lose them in a boating accident before then.

Boom!
Howdy, howdy. Just checking in, though I may be forced to follow the festivities from afar this year.
Thanks! Marking calendar!
This sounds like fun. Will have to figure out a way to haul my firearms on my Road King. Been thinking a rifle scabbard would look good on it.
Ping to figure out later if it’s reasonably close to DFW...
;)
Well Hell!
You'll be missed, brother.
We sure will miss you. Have lots of fun trudging up and down mountains.
Dude! I sure do hope you and your wonderful family are able to make it.
