Prominent Twin Cities businessman Irwin Jacobs and his wife were found dead Wednesday in their Lake Minnetonka home in an apparent murder-suicide, according to a close friend and business associate.

Were they democrats?
I’m sure he had 24/7 care. But that can’t stop the depression of seeing the one closest to you suffering 24/7.
Could have been a Bigfoot too.
Dennis Mathisen, a longtime business associate of Irwin Jacobs, told the Star Tribune Wednesday afternoon that Irwin killed his wife and then himself. Both were 77.
Health issues?
Money issues?
Mercy killing followed by I don’t want to live without you or with what I’ve done.
Much more likely
Epstein and Pedophile Island.
One of the Bronfman daughters (heirs to the Seagrams liquor fortune; bail was set in Federal Court in New York at $100 million).
Former Speaker of the US House of Representatives Dennis Hastert caught making structured payments (set up to evade reporting requirements) of hush money to someone he molested when he was a wrestling coach and they were a teenager.
What's-his-face, Kraft, caught getting a handy in a sleazebag oriental "massage parlour" during Super Bowl week when he could've easily afforded $1000/hr call girls.
Oh yeah, then New York attorney general Elliot Spitzer and a high-priced call girl (he was "Client #9").
And there were 28 people arrested during the Final Four and 58 people freed; during a sting operation.
Not automatically far-fetched.
More a trader than a businessman.
He liquidated W.T.Grants...
Dreadful. RIP.
Why are you associating this couple with sex trafficking. Minnesota is a big state.
“Irv the Liquidator”
More like liquidate-her
I know it’s the woman who is sick. I meant the man, who is a billionaire, had hired 24/7 care for her.
There are no cures for what she had. Or do you know about a cure for dementia or Alzheimer’s that nobody else knows about?
I’m not defending anything. I’m using logic to say she was being taken care of. It was the depression, the feeling of hopelessness that ensued, that caused him to take both their lives.
I’m not associating them. Other people did. I just happened to notice though that the date of the murder-suicide is the very same day authorities arrested 28 people and freed 58 others, in a sting operation about trafficking in Minneapolis.
Recall also that Canadian billionaire (executive in a pharmaceutical firm) and his wife, both found “hanged” in what was explained as a double suicide, and it turns out they were involved with the Clinton Foundation in Haiti.
Once is awhile it isn’t really suicide...
A good number of suicides are selfish acts—too myopic to care what good they are to others.
Bad enough for family to deal with without you throwing crap into the air
How many were in late 70s with dementia confined to wheel chair?
He was rich enough he didn't have to work; and could pay for 24x7 top-of-the-line care.
Of course he should not have shot her. I’m anti guns.
What did they have on the Clintons?
