Sen. Cory Booker on Monday introduced a bill that would study the possibility of reparations for descendants of slaves, embracing a push that recently has caught the interest of fellow 2020 Democratic presidential candidates.
The senator from New Jersey said Monday that “this bill is a way of addressing head-on the persistence of racism, white supremacy, and implicit racial bias in our country. It will bring together the best minds to study the issue and propose solutions that will finally begin to right the economic scales of past harms and make sure we are a country where all dignity and humanity is affirmed.”

Hopefully, one of the Republicans slips it into the bill that in order to be “considered” for reparations, complete DNA testing and genealogy would need to be submitted. Then the Dems will object to the bill because the DNA could be used to identify wanted criminals.

Advocates for reparations are publicly admitting assimilation has failed and there is no hope for most American blacks - they are being left behind by foreigners washing ashore daily who don’t even speak English. This is to cement on the books an arrangement akin to that worked out for American Indians - free sh!t for life if they so choose.

I think its great we’re finally going to get paid for freeing the slaves. Slavery is still legal in most parts of the world. Africa alone has 27 million slaves.
