Dr Pepper Snapple Group and beloved Texas grocery chain H-E-B are among the Fortune 500 companies in Texas that ranked poorly in a new report assessing the LGBTQ inclusivity of businesses across the country.
...
Dr Pepper Snapple received a rating of 45 out of 100 this year, down from its rating of 65 the year before. The company's benefits, health coverage, LGBTQ education, diversity council and outreach efforts were either non-existent or found to be lacking.
H-E-B scored even lower than Dr Pepper Snapple with a 30 out of 100. The Human Rights Campaign dinged the company for its lack of prohibitions on gender-based discrimination, medical benefits for same-sex spouses, equal health coverage for transgender individuals, LGBTQ education, LGBTQ outreach efforts and non-discrimination standards for contractors.

Hard to believe someone actually wrote a report on this crap.
Why does this even matter? If I interviewed you for a job, the only ways I would know if you were LGBTQ was, 1) if you told me and, 2) You came to work dressed like the stereotypical lefty loon.
What I am seeing more of is LGBTQ’s are upset because businesses do not have programs set up for them.I am wondering if they know they can use any program regardless of sexual or gender preference. Only note is, if you are XX, you will use the XX bathroom. If you are XY, you will use the XY bathroom.
You WILL be bullied into treating gay partners on a completely equal footing with heterosexual spouses.
Pretty clear that’s where this is going.
Not enough gays to make that impact, but enough young Liberal Kool-Aid Drinkers who perceive this as “bullying” to get away with it.
All marketers want customers under 40.
Gay used to be a choice but now its a ‘foist’
Did either company discriminate against anyone? No. Did either company post Not Welcome signs? No. Did either company not complete a sale to a paying customer? No. So, what is the problem?
No surprise that Dr. Pepper, the Breakfast of Champions, wants no truck with faggotry. I’m gonna buy another case tomorrow.
How should these companies respond?
Ignore it? Nearly all consumers don’t care anyway
Make a general statement about “inclusivity?”
Tell them to F*** *** and give them the publicity they crave?
Dr Pepper is MY drink for 50+ years!.......................
I knew there was a good reason why I love Dr. Pepper.
Diet Dr. Pepper actually tastes good!......................
HEB is a good Baptist business.
When I worked there in my high school days (1970’s) they weren’t even open on Sunday. And they didn’t sell alcohol.
And to this day - they still embody the Christian work ethic that made America great.
Nectar of the Gods....
There is a shemale who works at the HEB I shop at..I guess they missed it in their survey.
In Your Face Fascism on display.
We are all beginning to understand the VERY reason this crowd couldn’t abide by the don’t ask/don’t tell policy in the military is because they wanted to identify their like minded deviants for promotions and (choke) partnerships. It had nothing to do with “serving openly” as they claimed.
Whataburger has a new Dr Pepper Shake thats
