Dr Pepper Snapple Group and beloved Texas grocery chain H-E-B are among the Fortune 500 companies in Texas that ranked poorly in a new report assessing the LGBTQ inclusivity of businesses across the country.
...
Dr Pepper Snapple received a rating of 45 out of 100 this year, down from its rating of 65 the year before. The company's benefits, health coverage, LGBTQ education, diversity council and outreach efforts were either non-existent or found to be lacking.
H-E-B scored even lower than Dr Pepper Snapple with a 30 out of 100. The Human Rights Campaign dinged the company for its lack of prohibitions on gender-based discrimination, medical benefits for same-sex spouses, equal health coverage for transgender individuals, LGBTQ education, LGBTQ outreach efforts and non-discrimination standards for contractors.

HEB is a good business in general.
They support the local community, promote from within and carry good beef.
What else do you need from a grocery?
HEB’s high end brand, Central Market, is the one accessible to me. They are actually pretty competitively priced on many of the items I buy.
Fancy that, companies that are more concerned with profit than with Politically Correct staffing. Their shareholders must be appalled.
Yeah, I’m sure the legions of customers who patronize HEB could care less about the report, including members of the LGBTQ community.
A few years ago, Wal-Mart held its annual managers meeting in Houston—more than 4,000 store managers, district supervisors and higher-level execs. In their welcome package, they discovered an assignment; all had to visit an HEB store, take notes on all aspects of the operation they could observe, from displays to customer service. Their observations would be used in discussions on how Wal-Mart could emulate HEB.
Wal-Mart keeps an eye on all competitors, but they have a high level of respect for HEB.
And what would “outreach efforts” involve?
That's code for forced indoctrination.
God Bless Texas!
True. I almost never choose or use a product or store based on faggot appeal. But I might reject a product or store if I determine it has too much faggot appeal...
People who have sex with dead people and people who have sex with animals want the same inclusivity as LGBTQ.
fringe freaks wonder why they are not excepted duh.

If I was hiring for my own business I would tell any new hire that's a guy who thinks he was a woman if I caught Him in a woman's bathroom he would be fired! I would tell the woman who thinks she is a man she could use the men's room at Her own RISK!
