Its all but impossible to find for those who dont know what theyre looking for.
Room 121 rests at the end of an isolated hallway across the street from the Capitol, is locked at all times and has no signage whatsoever. The only indicator of its existence is a peephole outside the front door.
The special Department of Motor Vehicles office is closed to the public, and if one Republican gets his way, it will be closed to the lawmakers and Capitol staff members using it.

Isn’t that special.
Last time I had to renew my license in person, the place was filled with illegals. I came home itching all over. A regular shower didn’t stop the itch so had to take one with dog flea shampoo. Washed and dried my clothes twice.
Good. Why was there one in the first place?
They should go and stand in line, like all their constituents.
These are special people. We as underlings no longer have a say in what they do. Now, go pay your taxes!
Just like the USSR ,special places
Sometimes I can’t tell Sacramento Bee apart from Babylon Bee.
Hard to believe this is NOT satire, but it is California we are talking about.
do you think things like this are new or different?
there are special floors in hosptials for VIPs, and I assure you all politicans are VIPs in their own minds, as well as places in airports, in private general aviation.
The pigs are just so much more these days.
Since you’re innovative check out Pinellas County, Florida.
The DMV has a hugely effective program for licensing with appointments kept within 10 minutes, walk-ins a bit longer but with incredibly efficient processing.
Probably set up 10+ years ago “Pam” somebody? but with all the DMV horrors its system should be copied/marketed USA-wide.
Multi-million dollar idea here. Free. ;-)
Pay your taxes to support their harassment.
I’m sure these secret offices are all over the place and serve Hollywood celebs and the very rich, too. It infects all levels of government. How do you think Paris Hilton has multiple DUIs, multiple cocaine felonies, and has spent a grand total of a weekend in jail? John Edwards is a scumbag but he’s right, there are two Americas. In the last month, we’ve even seen their special little college admissions process, I can’t believe that people are surprised by that. Back 35 years ago, your dad had to donate a building to the college. Now he just meets them in a leased office with a duffle-bag full of cash.
Another House Post Office, eh?
No joke, Congress has had their own VIP wing at the Walter Reed Hospital since the place opened. There was a story on this about 10 years ago and the public was angry for day. Did the place close? Yeah, and I’ve got a bridge for sale.
We’ve read the stories about how celebs are treated at hospitals, they get admitted to special big rooms with keypad locks, room service, it’s like a room at the Marriott. Same thing here. A reporter got wind of it, a politician has promised to close it down, and 4 months from now everybody will have forgotten and the place will still be operating a floor up from where it is now.
Whoops, Walter Reed is closed. So they’re going to a different special VIP hospital, nothing ever changes...
And just think of all the EZ pass tolls they don’t have to pay.
My mother in law in CA has been waiting 6 weeks for her appointment with the DMV.

Tell her to drive to Needles, No Waiting, No Appointment necessary, in and out within a few minutes usually. I have a home in AZ, an AZ license and most of my stuff is registered in AZ. I still have a couple vehicles with CA plates and if I need to go to the CA DMV this is where I go.
Yeah, what a bunch of BS that is! Good luck trying to go to a DMV—appointments on the website are months out, and you show up at 0500 and there are 125 people in line.
It is very difficult thing to do.
A photo for the license, a tag for your license plate.
It should take hours so tell her to bring some food and water and something to read while she waits.
Theyre up in the Sierras. Needles AZ would be quite a trip.
