Gore: US getting close to political shift on climate change
ABC News ^ | 3/15/19 | Bill Barrow

**SNIP**

"We need a new president, and we need a president committed heart and soul to the climate crises," Gore said during an activist training conference in Atlanta hosted by his nonprofit, nonpartisan Climate Reality Project. "I'm very happy that so many of the Democratic candidates have made it clear that's the way they would intend to govern if they won."

Trump's presidency "is unfortunate in so many ways," Gore said, but he also credited Trump's open contempt of the scientific consensus that human activity affects the Earth's atmosphere with pushing many moderates and even some conservatives toward the more traditional liberal activists on the issue.

Gore, 70, added that public opinion is moving so quickly that a new president could find the political muscle for sweeping action. "Even people who used to want to deny it in the past are saying, 'Hey, hold on ... I've had enough of this,'" he said, citing rising sea levels, droughts and an uptick in "once-in-1000-year" storms.

How ironic can it get? Gore’s father, Albert Gore Sr., was Chair of the Senate Committee on Attempts to Influence Senators 1955-57, now defunct.

No one cares, Al!

The majority of Americans do not believe global warming will pose a serious threat within their lifetime, a new opinion poll has revealed.

It is estimated that termites currently emit twice as much CO2 as humans do by burning “fossil fuels”. The soil emits up to nine times as much. There is a lot that we still do not understand about how all the myriad of factors that cause the earth’s climate to vary. I do know that just barely more than 10,000 years ago the place where I live was covered with close to a mile of ice. I also know that the world has been plagued with awful ice ages and that they are much more devastating than the warm periods. Life has thrives in the warm periods and dies during ice ages.

Sorry I didn’t proofread my post, but I think the points I was trying to make still come through.

Apart from his efforts to tax the USA to death and kill babies, Gore was worse than GWB about helping the deep state abuse 4th amendment rights.

Mr. RR just spent two days plowing our road free of six foot snow drifts.......but it is winter in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Nothing unusual for us.

Look, Bush wasn’t a full on nut-job like Gore. I’ll acknowledge that, but GWB was as lost in space as his dad when it came to globalism.

His, let’s just give them all amnesty pissed me off something fierce.

I’m figuring that his meeting with Ivanka and her father, before the inauguration at Trump Tower, didn’t go as he envisioned it would.

We still have not recovered from the GWB-Obama period, but I think Gore-Obama would have been worse. I think we agree about this.

I think Obama getting away with what he did, made it clear the populace would not have woken up under a Gore term(s) in office.

On the other hand, two Bush terms in office didn’t wake up everyone on our side either.

Whatever we dislike about Gore, the worst part of it is his globalist views, another words being willing to accept the U. N. as the authority on all matters.

Honestly, that was the problem with Bush too.

Trump is the only guy who has stood up and said we’re not buying into the globalist nonsense under my term in office.

We would have been part of the globalist European green program Trump opted out of, if GW, Jeb Bush and any of a host of other GOP candidates had bested him.

We are fortunate for a while longer. Good luck then.

Agree.

Remember Gore's (when he was VP) endorsement of the "Clipper Chip?" He wanted laws that forced manufacturers to give NSA a back door to all voice and data. Then under GWB the Patriot Act. Now very few in government care about the Constitution.

Is his bank account running dry? Time to top it off?

I don't mind that Al tries to maximize his bank account. What bothers me is that there are so many useful idiots out there who are willing to contribute to his bank account!

It’s not going to matter in another year or two, when the Eddy Minimum really begins to sink its icy fangs into us.

As the planet cools and crop failures begin to force food prices through the roof, people the world over are going to condemn the purveyors of the AGW lie.

Many will seek to impose some measure of frontier justice on those who steered us wrong for decades.

A recent video I like to share on looking and trying to get “closer” to the truth .....

https://youtu.be/MUiYglgGbos

Not sure the truth exists even if I was a witness to an event due its agenda driven reporting by so called professional MSM presstitutes .

Good video and reasonable way to approach the nooze !
