He just made this tweet regarding Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal: (original, archive)
The text states:
Pompous little twit. You don’t have a plan to grow food for 8 billion people without fossil fuels, or get the food into the cities. Horses? If fossil fuels were banned every tree in the world would be cut down for fuel for cooking and heating. You would bring about mass death.
I think Moore’s comment would have been more effective without those first three words.
I do agree with everything else that he said.
Massive culling of the excess human population is the core goal of all Leftist ideology.
I use initial comment phrases like that sometimes but I usually have to cut them back out because I go over the character limit.
He’s right and she is also so narcissistic that I don’t think her feelings will be hurt.
While ‘sandy 0’ would probably prefer it be fly over country folks, she’ll accept city dwellers departing to a certain level since it would get her closer to her goal of being carbon free. Wait, WUT? There’s less than 12 years before THE END so, they could go early.
I think they’re perfect to describe her.

Considering how seriously the Democrat Presidential nominees accepted and signed onto AOC’s New Green Deal, Pompus Little Twit is justified.
Patrick Moore is a nice man and all, but he kind of harshed all over AO-C’s mellow there.
But he probably touched on the one thing that the real Green New Deal has as its ultimate objective - there are too damned many people in the world, and they shall have to be starved into near extinction to appease the great goddess Gaia.

He’s actually wrong about at least one point. We have many trees in Canada that would never be cut down because they are so far from a significant population.

Destroying the US economy is only going to encourage more fossil fuel consumption in countries that compete to fill the void, perhaps including North Korea.

Stalinist and Maoist as well. Peoples lives mean squat to socialists/communists except to be used to an end ...or not. AOC gives lip-service to saving the “planet”, but she and her socialist dems could give a rip about humanity. Socialism is actually a death cult.
There is a good chance that the green new deal’s real goal is to cull out a large chunk of the population. To environmentalists, humans are the scourge of the planet.
IDK. If there was no other fuel many things become economically viable. The whole idea is balderdash in any case.
It is scandalous that the press hangs breathlessly on every word of an idiot. It’s a symptom of our debased mainstream culture. Where once we had heroes based on self sacrifice, vision, dedication, ability and accomplishments now we have novelty or shock based stars & athletes (with physical prowess but no intellectual development) being the focus.
So it’s a good plan that would let the overpopulation of the cities die off from starvation and leave us alone in flyover country. Poor little snowflakes.
I don’t see a problem with that.
