IDK. If there was no other fuel many things become economically viable. The whole idea is balderdash in any case.

It is scandalous that the press hangs breathlessly on every word of an idiot. It’s a symptom of our debased mainstream culture. Where once we had heroes based on self sacrifice, vision, dedication, ability and accomplishments now we have novelty or shock based stars & athletes (with physical prowess but no intellectual development) being the focus.

I more less agree with you, though it is astonishing to see that the present young crop of idiots are so far out to lunch that an older vintage of idiots can even see the problem.

That said, see post 37—it will never conceivably be economically viable to deforest Canada, especially without fossil fuels. There are places where there are trees, but unless you can eat the trees themselves, bugs, or small rodents there is no way of getting the population present or moving the wood out to a population to even begin using up the wood.
