I believe in happy endings. Do you?
The biggest political story in America today is AOC (Alexandria Ocasio Cortez). And I know how to produce a happy ending- at least for President Trump, the GOP and capitalism. I believe I can end AOC’s political career, as quickly as it began.
For all intents and purposes, AOC is now the face and brand name of socialism. That means if we end AOC, we can end America’s dangerous flirtation with socialism.
Democrats love to ask for the tax returns of high profile Republicans. Think Trump. Democrats demand his tax returns all day long. It’s all they think about.
Think Harry Reid. He singlehandedly destroyed Mitt Romney’s presidential chances by lying about Mitt’s taxes. Harry claimed a close associate of Mitt told him Mitt never paid taxes for a decade. Harry lied. There was no “associate of Mitt.” No matter, Mitt never recovered. Harry bragged about it years later. He was asked did you lie about Mitt’s taxes? Harry replied, “It worked, didn’t it?”
Terrible. But two can play at that game. The difference is I don’t lie, or slander, or commit fraud like Harry. I just have great gut instincts and ask commonsense questions.
So, let’s turn the tables on the Democrats. It’s time to “Harry Reid” AOC.
Socialism is based on taxes- lots of them. AOC’s plans all revolve around loads of new taxes. She loves taxes the way that I love America, apple pie and football. AOC’s life is taxes, taxes and more taxes. At Christmas, she decorates her tree with IRS forms. At night she dreams of fairies, sugar plums and higher taxes.

This is a real good idea. I once had an argument with a liberal that was cheating on her taxes. Her argument was that corporation don’t pay taxes, rich people don’t pay enough taxes, why should I pay these taxes. Her thinking is not an anomaly.
The leftist way: Do as I say, not as I do. Can you say AlGore, of private jet, HUGE mansion, etc? Hypocrites, all.

I like it. There’s absolutely no reason for us to play by the rules when the demon-rats have torn up the rule book. I think it would be kosher to levy accusations that you know to be false also...that’s what Reid did and we could do it all day long. Have them chasing their tails or tales! They could be the most outlandish stories but the MSM would pick them up and run with them - well, maybe not if they were about their beloved political party!

Socialism isn't some minor threat that can be brushed aside like a housefly.
Since WWII, American colleges and universities have been infiltrated and propagandized by communists/socialists. They have indoctrinated generations of students who now occupy positions of leadership and even ownership in the news media and entertainment industries. Well-funded social/charitable/philanthropic foundations (like Obama's Mama's Ford Foundation) are replete with them. So is the so-called "Deep State" (including all branches of the government including the CIA, DOJ, and FBI).
They are behind the wave of "postmodernism" that is sweeping the country.
You know what postmodernism is don't you? It is that school of thought which says that reality is what you want it to be. Your gender is what you feel like it ought to be.
Postmodernists (which BTW make up a huge chunk of American voters) have their own reality, their own set of beliefs where good is bad, up is down...where socialism is the pinnacle of morality and capitalism is the Devil's way.
AOC is a nothing but, that said, she is a puppet for the forces of the Left and THEY will decide when they are done with her.

Reid was able to get away with his lie because he told it on the floor of the Senate—where all speech is protected. Romney had no legal recourse. Reid knew this and took advantage of it.
He may be a bit enthusiastic about this particular idea. And we still have to struggle with the lamestream media showing the truth. But the vast majority of Americans are not willing to partake of postmodernist BS. And even the ones who think ‘socialism’ sounds great have second thoughts when they learn what socialism really is. They really are THAT uninformed/miss-educated.
The left has taken conservatives apart by going after us one at a time. We need to do the same thing. Reveal each & every one for the lunatic, liar & hypocrite they are. The not-into-politics average person will draw an appropriate conclusion.
At least, I (still) have faith that will happen. ;-)

I in no want to put WWII in a perverse revisionist perspective but I have a theory that the greatest momentum push to Communism was America giving Stalin everything he wanted and totally ignoring the threat of Communism. McCarthy was flawed but he was RIGHT.Communism should have been destroyed during WWII. It is a disease that manifested immensely after WWII in America.Communism and associated “isms” have been rotting America and the world since the end of WWII even with the victory of the Cold War. The “peace dividend” and “reset” was a big lie.
Should have let the Nazis and Communists destroy each other.
I still believe that had Hitler taken Moscow, Stalin and the Bolsheviks may very well had been deposed in a coup, and Russia may still have prevailed with a new government that was not Communist in nature.
