CNN senior political analyst David Gergen came up with a rather odd observation on Monday's Erin Burnett OutFront. Fortunately for Erin Burnett, she was not present when Gergen blurted out the example of his uncomfortable oddity. That "pleasure" was left to At This Hour host Kate Bolduan, who seemed to have an oddly uncomfortable moment as we shall see:

Gergen’s upper lip is 2” from the bottom of his nose. That makes him look like Herman Muenster. At least every time I see his face on TV, it conjures that image in my mind.

I’ve freep’d for A LONG TIME, and I don’t recollect a whole lot of “I hope he gets raped in prison comments”, but thanks for being the morality statement police here.

I would imagine any sexual attack upon him would be strictly under ‘orders’ from above.
I just can’t see a whole bunch of guys going ‘ga ga’ over a 70 year old ‘wrinkly ass’ in a strictly sexual way.

Seems like Gergen (and other deviant-minded media lizards) are advocating for making prison sentences unconstitutional...cruel and unusual punishment.

If I’d been taking a count of how many of those comments I’ve seen here, there’d be four digits at least on the counter.
However, they do seem to have died down a lot in the past couple of years. Perhaps the Mueller thing is concentrating minds on what justice and the rule of law look like, and abuses aren’t so funny anymore.
Oh, there have been many such comments, but usually reserved for rapists, child molesters, etc., or gay black actors like Jussie what's-his-name.
Jussie Smollet would be really popular in prison, but the media won’t have to worry about that since he will only get a slap on the wrist.

That would probably be considered a homophobic comment if he was referencing someone else. But we already know that the PC rules go out the window when it comes to vitriol against the left’s political enemies.
