It's Time For All Americans to Support Our President
2/15/2019 | Nikos1121

It's time for all Americans, regardless of their political persuasion, to come together and support our president. Whether you've been for or against him, it's time to admit, he's paid his dues.

He's walked the walk. Like Ronald Reagan, he's been true to his promises and stayed the coarse, despite the daily onslaught of slings and arrows coming from all sides.

Whether you're that fair weather, mostly street dumb fan Ann Coulter, who called him "a lunatic" and "dumb" because he didn't call for a National Emergency months ago, or those whom we cherish, like Laura Ingraham and Rush who called him to hold a "State of the Union" address at a different venue. Trump knew all along what he was going to do. In short, he had a plan, and he stuck to it.

Pelosi and Schumer thought they had boxed him into a corner when he shut down the government, but in reality the shutdown brought the border crisis to the forefront of the news to the point that 60% of Americans recognized the need for a wall.

Pelosi, proud as a peacock, dis-invites him from speaking before congress until he ends the shut down. So, what does he do? He ends the shutdown, and gives the speech of the century, in the best possible arena, shelling it out to the point that he's got both sides standing and cheering him, and afterwards the pundits too.

Anyone listening to the speech would have to agree, that this man believes what he's saying. And that says a lot.

But it gets better.

They think they've trapped him again, by putting together a 1200 page bill full of mind fields and garbage, daring him to veto it. He makes it clear to all that he's displeased, but it does have 1.3 billion dollars above the dollar bill Pelosi offered. So he signs it, knowing that the silly provisions will be good only for a few more months, then gone like the wind.

And when the dems are celebrating, he includes a little doozy, that he's declaring a National Emergency, and right out of the gate he picks up 8 billion, and dares them to fight him.

Adding a cheery to the sundae, he gives a speech in El Paso attended by thousands, who are mostly Latin Americans. Across the street is another socialist dingbat, who draws only a few hundred Mexican Flag waving and Trump Piñata bashers.

Yes, say what you will about this man, but one thing is for sure--Like Grant,he fights. He IS the smartest man in the room, but he does it like a guy who got the top grade in a Dale Carnegie course.

He likes us, and now is the time for all of us to show that we like him. To recognize that he's in this for us, because he loves this country.

Has he made any mistakes? Yes, I can think of two.

1. Appointing Jeff Sessions as AG. The man didn't fight to protect our president, or to go after the true villains and traitors. He was weak, and he allowed for the special counsel. We now all know what a farce that was.

2. Trusting Paul Ryan, and signing the Omnibus Bill without getting his wall fully funded at that time. He was promised that it would be his, during the lame duck session. But it wasn't. Ryan took off, along with dozens of other weak minded elected losers, and went back home to mommy.

OUr president has played the other side and the Never Trumpers, and even those seasoned doubters on this forum who keep losing faith in him, like a 1937 Vintage C. F. Martin Guitar. And like the guitar,

He is truly made in America.

The RINOs retired enmass and surrendered the House to the Dems without a fight.

That was the effect of their retiring but not necessarily the motivation for their retiring. Those who wish to retain their seats rather than move into retirement with cushy pensions or sinecures on K St., will consider that the rupture of the Republican Party severely endangers their chances of reelection.

I agree, but not worth shutting down the gov’t. He’ll get the rest in September.

Just ignore them.

It shows the American people what cowards these people are.

The wall will be well on it’s way. Crossings will stop. He’ll gain leverage, and get more funding.

Next time around he’ll have people from both sides supporting him.

No, be patient...there are bigger fish to fry.

GREAT PRESIDENT...WE SHOULD ALL BE HAPPY TODAY.

By September the wall WON’T MATTER.

The MILLIONS of border crossers will be here FOREVER.

Demographics is destiny!

I AGREE Amazing how this man has been able to get anything done without any support. He hasn’t signed a slew of EOs like Obama. He’s played by the rules. Been a traditionalist and respects the office.

Hey, no one has done anything on this for decades. He’s getting it done.

Single handedly, he’s getting it done.

“Single handedly, he’s getting it done.”

Getting what done?

Worst immigration bill since Reagan’s amnesty.

Amen bro.

His list of achievements dwarfs those of Ronald Reagan at the same point in his presidency, and I consider Reagan the best president of the 20th century.

Because the illegal immigrants will be long gone into our country already.

Hey, he has no friends, GOP or otherwise. He knows this. VEto the bill, they’ll over ride the damn thing. It’s bad, we all know it’s bad, but the reality is, he got another win in his pocket.

There IS no WIN from this.

He’s had 2 YEARS to pick good people.

There are many people on the right who would JUMP at the chance to be in his administration.

Instead he hires bush people and keeps obama people.

Only himself to blame if he has no friends.

And his press conference where he said he ‘didn’t need to do this’ WRT his national emergency declaration probably deep sixed that with the courts.

I’m not worried. I hear what you’re saying. We are all frustrated, but let’s face it, he’s a positive guy, and we should be too.

I've seen events described as a chess game. I think it's war...or for you in Dixie, WOAH.

In war, "A plan does not survive first contact with the enemy."

No one can predict the future. I believe Trump thinks like a General, picking and choosing battles. It's foolish to fight in the face of superior enemy strength. So I have no issue with giving the left victories.

I have no time or patience for the whiners.

His speech in the rose garden today didn’t sound positive to me. It was disjointed and...odd...for a trump speech.

Thanks for this! I support our President and believe he is doing more than anyone else could have. Our government is corrupt but he is fighting tooth and nail, he can’t win everything but he’s certainly done alot, more than I thought possible. He will get the wall eventually.
