Don't get Joe Scarborough wrong: he detests Donald Trump as much as ever, and will surely do whatever he can to help defeat him in 2020. But in a triumph of realism over desire, on today's Morning Joe, Scarborough warned Democrats that beating Trump won't be easy.
As evidence of the daunting task facing Dems hoping to take Trump down, Scarborough urged Dems to listen to the "strong" closing segment of President Trump's speech in El Paso last night.
JOE SCARBOROUGH: There was a closing argument, and whoever wrote it, wrote a strong closing argument. And any Democrat that thinks they're going to cakewalk to beating Donald Trump in 2020, like they thought in 2016, and like everybody in the press thought in 2016, you need to watch the last four or five minutes of his speech and understand: Democrats have an uphill battle here. It's not going to be easy.

Democrats will still win ALL races that poll within the margin of error - - because they cheat.
If we want to win House seats we have to stop voter fraud.
That strong finish includes this odd hand gesture.
Its causing quite the buzz on twitter.

Hmmm? I wonder what Quld it be?
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
To be honest - Beto got more than 65 people but possibly only 65 of them were legal citizens.

Trump’s closing in that speech was the most powerful I’ve ever heard him give.
But w/ Beto having Mexican flags at his small Rally it becomes pretty easy w/ Dem positions on many issues to frame this elections cycle as America vs. Non-American. America vs. Socialism w/ its documentable failures. Only thing that Trump did not do during his speech last night and the SOTU speech is wave a piece of Apple Pie. He has taking ownership of the middle of the aisle and forced them w/ their hatred into the far left crazy no appeal corner.
His 52% approval rating helps his energy no doubt.
I just watched the last 10 minutes of the El Paso speech. I have never seen anything like that...a president so powerfully extolling the virtues of the United States and her people. It put tears in my eyes. I never thought I would live to see this again. He is out-doing Ronald Reagan.
And a chair against the wall!
Yes, stopping fraud is the key to winning. The margin of fraud is huge and getting bigger each passing year.
The other problem is the margin of lawyers — getting enough winning margin to shut down any recounts.
WOW, it took two years to figure that out? Perhaps the improving economy is sinking in.
Does anyone know who Trump’s current speechwriter is? I couldn’t find anything conclusive when I Googled it.
1st - There were 106,000 to 172,000 Gary Johnson voters in WI, MI & PA in 2016
Look at say PA in 2012, Gary Johnson only got about 50,000 votes!! 2016 he had around 146,000 votes!
TRUMP is going to get alot of those WOKE #NeverTRUMP Gary Johnson voters in PA, MI & WI
2nd - There were alot of missing GOP voters in 2016 that have finally WOKEN up!
I don't see how TRUMP loses having #NeverTRUMP Gary Johnson voters & missing GOP voters all coming back to TRUMP! LOL
Watched the last 5 minutes and it was powerful. Trump was in top form.
So, no wonder little joey was wetting his pants.
Didn’t notice any weird hand gesture though.
I believe that the amazing Stephen Miller is still on his staff.
America has enemies we must battle with. Let’s not dishonor those who go to battle for our country against those enemies, with those politicians who think they should go to battle against our own country and elected president.
I don’t know...Corey Booker has just come out against beef and eggs. He may have just sown up the election.
Perhaps, I guess if we let dead people and illegals to vote, we might as well allow Cows and Chickens to vote.
Trump has written 5 best selling books. He is a very good writer and knows what sells. Reagan wrote all of his own speeches.
