5 kids, ages 12-16, charged with killing Nashville musician

ASHVILLE, Tenn. - Nashville police have arrested the five kids they say shot and killed a 24-year-old musician Thursday afternoon.

The Nashville Police Department announced the arrests Friday.

Under Tennessee law, three of the five can be identified here because they are charged with homicide and they are over the age of 13.

Roniyah McKnight, 14; Diamond Lewis, 15, and Decorrius Wright, 16, as well as a 12-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy are all charged in connection with Kyle Yorlets death.

Police say Yorlets was killed outside his home Thursday afternoon when the five charged took his wallet and shot him for refusing to give them his keys, according to police.

The problem has two sides.
First: Generational ignorance and criminal behavior that is now 'normal' in the black culture. Deeply entrenched in the psyche and the neighborhoods. The same is happening in New Orleans. Well entrenched black/ghetto/dangerous neighborhoods .
Second: DUMB, naïve white 'hipsters' who like the 'funky vibe' of said neigborhoods move in , paint up the derelict houses, open hipster businesses(the Marigny is an example with nightclubs, restaurants and art galleries) and think strolling around those depressed areas will turn them into the new Seattle or San Francisco(idealized). The local black residents resent them and crime happens every night. Naïve victims abound.

As for the names...might as well issue cell numbers at birth. criminals give birth to criminals, its a continuing cycle. And yet the stupid, naïve victims keep coming.The only way to stop it is to stop the production of criminals and wise up the Kumbaya crowd. PC has made both solutions impossible.

I was shocked at the crime rate in Nashville because I thought it would be a conservative town. Out of curiosity I compared it to Baltimore...Spot on crime rates! Gnashville higher cost of housing (new vs old) and cost of living.

This story does not surprise me in the least. Close to forty years ago, a friend from Eastern Ontario moved briefly to Nashville to take a course in lumber grading. He went down there not having a dislike of any race. Six months later, he came back with, shall we say, a certain ‘appreciation’ of African-American ghetto culture. It was not a ‘positive’ appreciation, in any way, shape or form.

Well, decided to check out some recent images of downtown - can't believe what's happening to my beloved birthplace. Had a hard time believing it in 2003 - last time I was there. But I still have my memories of Nashville in the 60's..:-)

How many firearms do you suppose most people have that weren't purchased in a store?

Some years ago I bought a couple legal weapons at a well-known outdoors store.

I was traveling, and my bag was stolen.

I wanted to report the crime, couldn't access my receipts or serial numbers at home.

I called the store, gave them my name, described the firearms. Ten minutes later the guy was back on the line. "I have the purchase record here, are you ready to write down the numbers?"

Those records exist and can be accessed. They WILL be accessed when the Left takes the reins.
