The Democratic governor of New Mexico ordered a partial withdrawal of the state’s National Guard troops from the U.S.-Mexico border while also taking a shot at President Trump.
Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham, a Democrat, made the announcement a few hours before Trump delivered his State of the Union address in which he renewed his call for a wall along the southern border.
"New Mexico will not take part in the president’s charade of border fear-mongering by misusing our diligent National Guard troops," Lujan Grisham said in a statement Tuesday.
National Guard troops were deployed to the border in April 2018 and 118 remained there before Lujan Grisham’s announcement. The governor has also directed Arkansas, Kansas, Kentucky, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Wisconsin to pull out their troops.
She said some troops will remain in the southwestern part of the state to address humanitarian needs.
“I recognize and appreciate the legitimate concerns of residents and officials in southwestern New Mexico, particularly Hidalgo County, who have asked for our assistance, as migrants and asylum-seekers continue to appear at their doorstep,” she said.
The withdrawal follows the Pentagon’s announcement Sunday that it would send an additional 3,750 troops to the border.

A group of 247 migrants crossed the border illegally in Antelope Wells and turned themselves in to Border Patrol agents just after midnight Jan. 16. The majority of those taken into custody are Central American parents with children and unaccompanied minors, according to Border Patrol. Trump will be gone either in 2 or 6 years. Even a 5-4 SCOTUS sans RGB overturning Wade and re-affirming 2A is subject to 'reinterpretation' once the mob gains control.
That's why the only viable solution, besides putting up the wall, is to occupy states currently in rebellion and begin a long reconstruction process.
Otherwise, Trump is simply the last gasp of a dying republic.

I live in NM. Don't I wish but remember this is the state that voted King Bill Richardson gobner twice.
I drove through NM a few years back, and I was amazed at the ickiness of so much of Albuquerque (think LA, here).
I was also unpleasantly surprised at the need for so much security at the motel in which I stayed, apparently crime pays in NM.

I was replying to another person’s post, anyway, but I realize my own state of MI now has a pro-baby killing (”abortion”) Gov.Gretchen Whitmer,2 Dem US Senators, and voted for motor voter and legal marijuana.
I voted for Trump in the Mich.primary in 2016 which helped carry the delegates needed by Trump, and in the US election when MI went to him (narrowly). Now the trend is strongly against him.
Thus, you could argue against me that my state should now be kicked out along with CA,AZ and NM.
NONE will be pushed out-—it was hyperbole and anger at the leftist tilt that, along with TX and FL would destroy any GOP presidential possibility for fifty years or more.
Justifiable anger (vote fraud, illegals, felons (FL) and millennials adding up to take elections.)

Back in context, here are the last lines I wrote:
Problems: FR headquarters is in CA, Freepers live in the embattled CA,AZ and NM and we are not supposed to support insurrection and civil war.
So I guess the 3 states stay.
So please don’t aim your wrath at me if that’s what you meant. We have to work together and fight alongside each other so let’s do that, FRiend. Including MI,CA,AZ and NM.
