The Democratic governor of New Mexico ordered a partial withdrawal of the state’s National Guard troops from the U.S.-Mexico border while also taking a shot at President Trump.
Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham, a Democrat, made the announcement a few hours before Trump delivered his State of the Union address in which he renewed his call for a wall along the southern border.
"New Mexico will not take part in the president’s charade of border fear-mongering by misusing our diligent National Guard troops," Lujan Grisham said in a statement Tuesday.
National Guard troops were deployed to the border in April 2018 and 118 remained there before Lujan Grisham’s announcement. The governor has also directed Arkansas, Kansas, Kentucky, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Wisconsin to pull out their troops.
She said some troops will remain in the southwestern part of the state to address humanitarian needs.
“I recognize and appreciate the legitimate concerns of residents and officials in southwestern New Mexico, particularly Hidalgo County, who have asked for our assistance, as migrants and asylum-seekers continue to appear at their doorstep,” she said.
The withdrawal follows the Pentagon’s announcement Sunday that it would send an additional 3,750 troops to the border.

The people of New Mexico get exactly what they deserve for voting in a libtard dummocrap governor. They are playing dummocrap games, while letting illegals into their state and thus into the country. States who do not allow strict control of who gets into our country should be heavily penalized at the federal level. Put a tax on them, punish them in every way possible. You can’t have one or more states setting themselves up as “sanctuary” states which sit on our border. Illegals will just waltz into the States in those states and continue on to others.
I’m guessing her chances of re-election are nil.

As said before about illegals in general all are now invited to live with Dems (we extend the open invitations because Dems are too shy and modest to do so).
The Dem governor needs to put new sheets on the mansion beds and set up all the couches and bring in lots and lots of single mattresses all over the mansion for the new alien arrivals.

So, CA, AZ and NM are reverting to anti-American Mexico. Let them secede or we can push them out. All 3 soon to become 70% Dem, anyway.

I hope the people of New Mexico that are US citizens realize their Governor is not on the side of the rule of law and the citizens of the US.
I’m sure the foreign nationals know whose the Governor is on.
I know folks who moved out of N.M, born and raised there who said it had become a real crap-hole and they couldn’t stand it any longer being there.
