The President DID Talk About Climate Change
Rush Limbaugh.com ^ | February 6, 2019 | Rush Limbaugh

Posted on 02/06/2019 7:25:57 PM PST by Kaslin

RUSH: You know what else the left is ticked off about today? What did Trump not mention last night in the State of the Union address? He didn’t talk about climate change. He didn’t talk about it one time, except that he did. They just don’t know it.

I’ve looked at a bunch of places. A bunch of my little childlike tech bloggers are just livid, they’re offended as hell that Trump didn’t talk about climate change. They’re out there crying to each other about the fact that 15 of the last 18 years have been the hottest years ever in history. And that’s a crock. And anybody with a half a brain would know that. But they buy into this stuff. And then they say, “Trump didn’t even talk about it. This guy is horrible.”

He did talk about it. He told them to go pound sand. You know when Trump talked about it? You know when he talked about it? He talked about climate change when he regaled everybody that we are now a net exporter of fossil fuels. We don’t need Saudi Arabian oil anymore. We don’t need depend on anybody. We are producing more oil and natural gas than anybody in the world.

Well, let me tell you, that’s when they cut to Ocasio-Cortez, and she was scowling and frowning because she knew what that meant. Any time you start using fossil fuels you are telling the climate change crowd to go pound sand. They want to eliminate all that. That’s their cure. Their cure for climate change and having a habitable planet in the next 30 to 40 years is getting rid of the use of oil and getting rid of the use of natural gas and stopping getting it, acquiring it, looking for it, drilling for it.

So when Trump starts touting how amazing we’re doing in energy, that we are leading the world in production, that we are the leading energy sector and our the economy is among one of the greatest aspects of it, he is essentially telling them to go to hell on their climate change stuff. He knows full well what they want to do. They want to shut down all of that, which is not realistic. It’s not possible. This economy would come to a screeching halt.

If these people ever get their way, the U.S. economy as you have known it will cease to exist. How are you gonna ship anything? You can’t fly an airplane on wind energy, and you can’t do it on solar. And you can’t do it on anything other than fossil fuels. I’m gonna stop there. I’ve been through all this for so many years that you know the drill on all this.

But I’m just telling you, he did talk about climate change, and he rammed it down their throats by celebrating the wild success of the American energy sector because that told them everything they needed to know, that he’s not gonna give them even a glance when it comes to the climate change.

I think one of the things that's been motivating the Left and the MSM-Democrats to go on this insane witch-hunt attempt to criminalize everything PDJT has done since he declared his candidacy for POTUS has been their awareness and memory of the good feelings and positive response of the American people during the first term of Ronald Reagan.

After the Carter malaise, Reagan was like a new beginning for America. It showed up in many ways in our culture; only the MSM and Democrats resisted back then, constantly carping on anything negative, ignoring positive signs like the resurgence of the job market (help wanted ads everywhere), the rebounding real estate market, the widespread emergence and visibility of new technology like the PC, VCRs, CDs, etc.

They remember that, and they made the determination that it must not be allowed to happen again. They've set themselves the task (among other things) of making sure that the millenial generation does not identify the Trump presidency with positives, the way much of the Baby Boom generation remembers the Reagan presidency.

No, the climate change crowd, who froze their butts last few days, just hate that Trump was allowed to give a speech with everyone watching. They were counting on Nancy P to veto his SOTU speech until 2020 comes around.

Laura Ingraham complains of late that Trump’s cabinet are MIA, so to speak. no-one can force the FakeNewsMSM to report on their activities:

5 Feb: Washington Examiner: Perry unveils Exxon-Qatar natural gas deal ahead of Trump’s State of the Union
by John Siciliano
Energy Secretary Rick Perry on Tuesday touted a natural gas deal between Exxon and Mideast energy giant Qatar to build a new energy export terminal in Texas, while boasting about the strength of the U.S. economy ahead of Trump’s State of the Union address...

Golden Pass expects to create 9,000 construction jobs and over 200 permanent jobs. It is projected to generate up to $31 billion in economic gains for the U.S., and $4.6 billion in federal, state, and local tax revenue, according to Exxon.
“This expansion represents not only an investment in creating jobs and growing our state’s economy, but also in expanding our nation’s international export reach and energy independence,” said Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, a Republican...

6 Feb: Financial Times: US becomes UK’s top oil supplier for first time since Suez
by David Sheppard
The US has become the biggest exporter of oil to the UK for the first time since the Suez crisis, as the growing bounty of shale production starts to supplant North Sea supplies.
In January the US supplied the equivalent of almost one in every four barrels of crude processed by UK oil refineries, or 264,000 barrels a day, illustrating the outsized role American oil now has in Britain’s energy mix...

That level was more than Norway, Russia, Nigeria or Algeria, according to data from the cargo-tracking company Kpler, which have all been major suppliers to the UK in recent years...
“We’re likely to see more US exports to the UK,” said Professor Paul Stevens, an energy expert and fellow at Chatham House.
“It’s geography — why sail further than you need to when the UK is the first big market the US can reach?”
The rise in US exports to the UK has been driven primarily by two US-based companies, ExxonMobil and Valero, which own two of the six oil refineries still operating in the UK.

and why don’t they report good news about Trump?

VIDEO: 6 Feb: Fox Business: Ben Carson: Trump should get credit for record-low minority unemployment but he doesn’t
By Julia Limitone
“It’s indisputable,” Carson told FOX Business’ Stuart Varney on Wednesday. “It’s just that some people won’t admit it because it flies in the face of their narrative.”
Carson, who has worked as a neurosurgeon and was also was a presidential contender for the Republicans in 2016, recalled an interview Trump did with Oprah many years ago under which he said he wouldn’t run for president unless the country was “going off the cliff,” but in his opinionOpens a New Window. , Trump’s not running the country for credit.

“He does it because he loves our country and he wants it to be successful,” Carson noted, adding that some can’t acknowledge his success because it minimizes some of their arguments, especially the Democrats.
“It detracts from their argument that capitalism is horrible. That we are a horrible country. That we treat minorities the wrong way, we are racist,” he said. “I guess that’s why there are caravans of minorities trying to get in here.”...

Ford’s CEO and company have decided to produce cars that comply with the Green initiatives. I watched a presentation on YouTube last evening that angered me the more I watched.

These people aren’t Chicken little. They are people who worship Chicken Little.

This link should give folks a quick uptake on it.

I may have purchased my last Ford.

If others follow suit, or already have tipped the public off they’re going this direction, it won’t matter.

What is “climate change”

A natural process that has been going on for 14 billion years on planet Earth.

What criteria is used to measure it.

That depends on WHO is measuring it.

What empirical data is used that is not rigged.

Is this a trick question? : )

What is it so we know if it is man made?

OH, there is man-made 'warming'. Of that there is absolutely no doubt. For instance, HEAT ISLANDS. But it's like peeing in the ocean. It might feel warm around your legs while you're peeing, but it's not going to have any long lasting effect.

I THINK IT IS ALL A HOAX TO GET YOUR STUFF.

Underground survival bunkers for the elite don't come cheap. Gotta get that money from somewhere, someone. Like us.

Get these lies out of our public schools!!

To do that, we would have to get rid of the PEOPLE who tell those lies. People are the problem, not schools, not climate change.

So, how do we solve that 'people' problem ?

In King County WA the County Council just passed a moratorium on all new fossil fuel infrastructure. This means that new developments can’t have natural gas piped to them if the pipes are not already in place, and no improvements to gas stations. This is a growing area, growing areas need new infrastructure. This of course won’t have any effect on non-existent global warming. It is just more nonsense.

He could have mentioned the skid loads of eliminated EPA regulations paperwork that went into the dumpster. Which resulted in cost reductions that got the government out your face and pocket.
