I don't think I'm seeing/saw things. While watching the 5PM local news on 12 (ABC) out of San Antonio they brought up Ralph Northam and his situation. They then ran a clip from ABC news that in the lower left hand corner had a box that read "Republican Ralph Northam"!!!!!!!!!!
Just for my satisfaction did anybody else see this ABC clip. I don't watch any national news but am about 99% sure it said "Republican Ralph Northam".
More fake news?
CNN did the same thing.
Series-ly?
left hand corner had a box that read “Republican Ralph Northam”!!
I didn’t see ABC news today, or any other day, but I did see a CNN news clip from yesterday on internet when they had the Gov as a Republican - both in print and in words.
“...probably leaving FR...That said I’ll stay on...”
-
You sound conflicted... just saying!
They do this intentionally, then issue a retraction/correction later that nobody ever sees and thus they have successfully painted Republicans as racists.
All the more reason not to watch them, EVER !
You either saw it or you didn’t.
The media believe that only white Republicans can be racist, so yeah ... a lot of the news stations are doing this.
Anybody have a screenshot?
“.....its the kind of thing Republicans always dojust like when they freed the slaves and voted for the Civil Rights Act.”
Boy, you have me completely confused. What does all that mean?
Just one of many threads on FR.
Wouldn’t be surprising at all - conversely, in Philly this week a high ranking official with the electricians’ union and one of his henchmen city councilmen were indicted on 116 counts of all sorts of misuse of union money - not once on any of the local stations did I hear the councilman referred to as a Democrat, his party affiliation - the MSM are entirely owned subsidiaries of the ‘rat party.....
I didn’t see it.
But if they did, it’s right after CNN did.
More than a mistake.
More than a coincidence.
They know Northam is toast, so they’re going to throw him under the bus, and while doing so they “mistakenly” label him a republican and then later maybe, or maybe not recant.
They don’t need to fool everybody, or everybody all at once.
What they’ll do is, little by little, throw lies out to damage republicans or Trump. They’ll seem or be passed off as innocent or innocuous, but in reality its designed to be a paper cut. Highly annoying but seemingly harmless.
In reality its goal is death by a thousand cuts.
Discourage or alienate a handful here, and another handful there and another over there, within time you’ve affected a large group.
They might not vote for your side, but they’re not voting against your side.
Thanks.
Damn, CNN is slime.
I mean that even though the Republican party began as an anti-slavery party, voted overwhelmingly for the Civil Rights Act with a higher percentage than the Dems, they are labeled the racists whilst the Dems, who fought a war to preserve slavery, passed Jim Crow laws in the South, established the KKK, stood in the schoolhouse door, etc., etc, are portrayed as the Blacks’ only friend. Then we find a Democrat governor whose VMI nickname was ‘coonsman’ whose med school yearbook picture features someone (him) in blackface accompanied by someone in a KKK outfit and (if this report is true) is labeled as a Republican by two “news” organization.
Everyone makes mistakes, but when two news organizations label a Dem governor in trouble because of racial matters a Republican, I have to come to the conclusion that they are Fake News.
The GOP should sue them, not just threaten.
ABC will say, ... according to CNN, Northam is a Republican .... propaganda lying media.
