Presidential candidates Sen. Kamala Harris and Julian Castro were among prominent Democrats calling on Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam to resign Friday night over a photograph of him in a racist costume.
Ms. Harris, California Democrat, tweeted, “Leaders are called to a higher standard, and the stain of racism should have no place in the halls of government. The Governor of Virginia should step aside so the public can heal and move forward together.”
Mr. Castro, mayor of San Antonio, Texas, said it “doesn’t matter if he is a Republican or a Democrat.”

Ahh, more contempt by the Democrats for the will of the voters. I’m sure there’s a method for voters in Virginia to handle this matter, should they actually be outraged enough about something that happened decades ago.
I strongly suspect that not only are they not so moved, but also don’t particularly care what the opinions are from some junior senator from California and a mayor in Texas.
But of course, those opinions are more important than the choice of the voters in Virginia. Just continuing the theme - elect whom you please, and then we’ll just remove them from office for some offense or another that we just make up as a crime.
2020 is going to go down as the ‘racist’ election, where ‘white power’ pushes forward to ‘deny people of color and women and LGBTQWERTY their due rights...’ Probably with a couple nice riots thrown in for good measure, before and after the election.

The only reason he is toast is that the election season has started, and candidates have to one up each other flogging him.
Not only that but expect that within minutes of his impending resignation dems and their media accomplices cite it as the left “having no tolerance for racism, while the right is silent on the racism in and at the top of their party”.
