In the 2020 election, white voters will make up less than 67% of all eligible voters, according to projections made by the Pew Research Center and released this week. It marks the first time in American political history that white voters are less than seven in 10 of all eligible voters in a presidential election.
That's a significant moment in the changing face of America -- and has potentially massive consequences for our politics. White voters have long been a bulwark of the GOP coalition in national races while nonwhites have become increasingly Democratic over the years. At the same time, the white vote has been shrinking as a percentage of the overall electorate while the nonwhite vote has been growing.

Win 50% of the Latino vote and 30% of the Black vote and you will be fine. But if you fail, we all fail. Higher taxes, lower standard of living and long wait lines for healthcare from doctors you don’t know.
Isnit it interesting that the voice of 33% of the populace is 100 times louder than the voice of the 66%.
The politicians listen to every whisper from the 33% and hardly anything from the 66%.
It’s not cocky. Trump is defying probability and that gets my attention. How is he defying and entire government and surviving? Someone larger than his opponents wants him there.
If we had the same Demographics we had in the 1980’s, the Republicans would have 280+ House and 70+ Senate seats.

First of all, the universal law of nature is that you can only keep what you can hold. We are seeing this endless truth repeat itself right here, right now in the USA. People seem to take for granted the sacrifices made by prior generations, assuming that the legacy is to be respected by all for the descendants' perpetual enjoyment.
Wrong! The enemy neither respects your history, nor honors your expectations of quiet enjoyment. Rather, they see a dissipated, distracted and weakened people ripe for defeat & take-over. And as the attacks continue in both frequency and intensity, what does the great mass of people do? Why, they go to work, pay attention to their families, meanwhile giving themselves a collective pat-on-the-back for failing to organize and/or agitate like "those people".
So, when the inevitable crisis finally occurs, and the somnolent denizens finally awaken to the true danger that their entire way of life, including the institutions that govern and the capital basis which employs and creates wealth, is in danger of failing, what do they do?
Why, they fight back of course. And if our enemies think they will prevail, ask the Palestinians how that worked out when you threaten a superior force with subjugation and annihilation. I've said this repeatedly: the final outcome is when the enemy's participation in public dialogue is barred and their territories are occupied.
