Fox News Poll: Trust in judicial, executive branches drops; RBG most popular justice
FOX News ^ | January 31, 2019 | By Victoria Balara

The U.S. Supreme Court has been the most trusted branch of government among voters for more than a decade -- and while that still holds true, faith in the court is now near its lowest. In addition, the number saying the executive branch is their most trusted stands at a new low.

When asked which of the three branches of government they trust the most, 35 percent of voters choose the U.S. Supreme Court, according to the latest Fox News Poll. That’s down from 45 percent in February 2017. A record-low 33 percent chose the court in June 2005.

The executive branch is chosen by 18 percent, down from 26 percent two years ago.

Thirteen percent pick Congress as the branch they most trust, that remains unchanged.

Confidence in the Supreme Court is down across groups, with some of the biggest shifts coming from Democrats (down 30 percentage points since 2017), millennials (-21), and women (-15).

As Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg continues to recover at home from a December surgery, the poll finds she’s the best-liked member of the court, at least for those who can name a favorite.

Overall, 22 percent couldn’t name any of the current Supreme Court Justices.

Did they get that poll from a leftist source?

Executive includes fbi/doj. I do not trust them at all. In fact I distrust them completely. Ask who people trust more the fbi/doj or POTUS Trump.

When you want to make up a story, get a poll. Now, the newscasters have something to talk about all day.

RBG is the most popular because she doesn't waver in her beliefs, and has the ability to sway others. I wouldn't be surprised if Chuck and Nancy don't score higher on "approval" because they did the same with the wall. President Trump's approval is down by a significant amount because he didn't do what he said he'd do....in Afghanistan, Syria, the wall, getting infrastructure done first.

He's been played by the Illuminati/DeepState traitors. And, now we're almost through another week of him not taking any executive actions to get his administration in our good graces.

(I'm still not happy that AG Sessions is no longer there.)

RBG is probably the most popular because she’s the only one 99% of the people can name — and only because of the recent movie and her impending death.

“As Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg continues to recover at home...”

They are going to have to prove she is alive, or I’ll have to assume she is graveyard dead.

Clarence Thomas is the ONLY Supreme Court justice I have complete confidence in.

The guy is human and can make a mistake, but if I found myself in disagreement with his legal opinion I’d rethink my opinion and research it some more to be sure where I stand is right.

We’ve got some other good justices on the court, but I have the most confidence in Thomas.

As far as RBG, any opinion she expresses is almost certainly the opposite of how it should be, even in the rare cases she votes correctly, because she will argue the correct answer for the wrong reason.

Of course the left worships this dying (or dead) woman. Hoping and praying President Trump picks her replacement soon.

RBG is probably the only justice many of those polled ever heard of.

That's exactly what it is. They've only heard of her because the left has been trying to make RBG into some kind of folk hero. If these same people were then asked to name their second favorite justice, they wouldn't be able to come up with a name.

I agree. Taken during a push on a movie about her . Using people that couldn’t’ tell all the justice now. interesting that if they were doing a movie about Justice thomas the BCC would be throwing a fit while the feminists mount a campaign to discredit justice Thomas.

People right not like Ginsurg as a goof. Like in the early 90s when Tony Bennett became popular for a while with Gen X. It was a joke, nobody took it seriously. They put out a bunch of stuff about how hip and cool she is, how her workout will “wreck you” and people think “ooh, she’s cool!” but that’s literally all they know about her, and when she dies they’ll shrug and say “oh well.”

Oh, get serious! How could Ruth "Weak Bladder" Ginsberg be "popular?" She looks like everyone's demented aunt. She's so doddering she can't even sit up. And the people who claim they like her probably couldn't cite a single case she's ruled on, let alone anything she's actually written.

The only reason they even know her name is because the whore media are touting her as a latter-day Solomon.

I buy this-- only from name recognition if nothing else. Face it, can your average Libtard name any other justice besides Ginsburg and Kavanaugh? "Sotoma-who?"

For those of us on the Right, we have a number of choices, thus splitting the vote.

I stopped trusting SCOTUS in the late 1980s. I have cautioned ever since against the desire to see gun laws go there.

RBG is as anti-American and anti-Christian as any Supreme ever.
