Special counsel Robert Mueller has almost finished up his nearly two-year investigation into collusion and Russian interference in the 2016 election, the acting attorney general said Monday.
"The investigation is, I think, close to being completed, and I hope that we can get the report from [Special Counsel] Mueller as soon we — as possible," acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker said during a news conference after announcing criminal charges against one of China's largest telecommunications companies.
"I have been fully briefed on the investigation, and I look forward to director Mueller delivering the report, and I really am not going to talk about an open and ongoing investigation otherwise," he added.

The implication is that Whitaker is having an impact.
And with the capture of desperado suspect Roger Stone the FBI has once again flexed it’s muscle, successfully cracking down on the corruption D.C. We can all sleep easy now knowing Stone was finally captured.
I believe it’s probably close to being done. The Dems have to find a charge to start impeachment proceedings on before RBG dies.

I want to believe.
I used to believe that Jeff Sessions was quietly working on a big cleanup. But I have become cynical.
Since I have become more cynical, I am less happy, but seem to be more frequently correct.
Too bad I was starting to grow fond of it.
My guess is he had a briefing with Mueller who tried to string him along by saying he’s close to wrapping it up, so Wray went public with it to keep the heat on. It’s how the game is played in that town.
Whitaker that is.
Gutfeld said that if aliens invaded the earth and killed 6 billion humans these idiots would be asking if that would affect the Mueller investigation.

Joe diGenova said Mueller is afraid of Barr. I didn’t buy it when he was selling it, but it appears that he might have been right.

They still need to investigate the connection Trump had with a Russian kid in his third grade class.
Trump reportedly colluded with the kid in the school lunch room in 1955, the two kids traded desserts with each other.
