Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham told me that as recently as a couple of weeks ago Trump mused to him about the possibility of using military force in Venezuela, where the U.S. government is currently pushing for regime change using diplomatic and economic pressures.
What happened: Graham, recalling his conversation with Trump, said: "He [Trump] said, 'What do you think about using military force?' and I said, 'Well, you need to go slow on that, that could be problematic.' And he said, 'Well, I'm surprised, you want to invade everybody.'"
Graham laughed. "And I said, 'I don't want to invade everybody, I only want to use the military when our national security interests are threatened.'"
"Trump's really hawkish" on Venezuela, the hawkish Graham added in a phone interview on Sunday afternoon, adding that Trump was even more hawkish than he was on Venezuela.

There is no upside for us.
No need any country that has 1,000,000 percent inflation is doomed anyway.
Maduro’s election last year was not absurd cheating nor a bizarre one-off never happen again sort of thing.
Chavez won election twice this century, and the vote count was legit and not even close. He was a socialist. Maduro is his picked heir apparent, and he has won twice so far.
People are going to have to come to terms with either hating socialism or loving democracy. If the people vote for socialism, which they have done several times now, are you going to accept it or are you going to talk about military options.
Venezuela has oil. Oil that will last far longer than shale. China and Russia own large percentages of it via loans — loans that the US had every opportunity of making and refused. So are we going to not only reject the vote of the people, but also reject the rule of contract law and expunge those loan contracts after the invasion?
Have we no shame?
So why are we meddling in theirs?
That did happen in Granada, and during the first weeks of the liberation of Baghdad. But it’s not to be expected.

Doesn’t sound like a serious idea. Just seeing what Graham’s thoughts were. But watch the MSM jump up and down and make angry chimp noises over this. Every day it’s something.

No one even knows how corrupt the designated interim President is. Corruption is endemic to Latin American government and politics.
Trump is hawkish when it comes to protecting America and the People....that’s why Maduro opted to back off the deadline for kicking our Ambassadors out....I bet the Army has also been warned that if they opt to go on an anti-Maduro killing spree, they will be fertilizing the fields.
Exactly how many American lives and how many taxpayer dollars is getting “the Russians and the Chinks out of Venezuela” worth?>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Or maybe we can say how many lives is it worth not to have Russian Naval Control of the Caribbean poised for invasion of the homeland.
How many lives was it worth in WWII to keep America safe?
