Home Depot billionaire co-founder Bernie Marcus said Friday that the growing appeal to socialism in America comes out of the universities.
Marcus, during an interview with Fox News' Neil Cavuto, discussed the deterioration of socialist Venezuela and Cuba, comparing the situations in those countries today with the realities there decades ago, pre-socialist rule. Marcus called the economic downturns in each of those countries, Cuba, in particular, a "perfect example of socialism gone wrong."
"almost 50 percent of students coming out of universities today believe that socialism is the answer. That's frightening to me..." "They [Cuba] took a great country. They put it right down the drain in every way possible," Marcus said. "People are starving to death. Medical [care] is not available for them. And we have a group of people in Washington today, new representatives especially, that look at socialism as the way to go and if you don't think that's dangerous, I do."
Marcus further addressed where he believes the growing socialist sentiment among Americans is coming from.
"It comes right out of the universities. You see students graduating today and a very high percentage...almost 50 percent of students coming out of universities today believe that socialism is the answer," Marcus said. "That's frightening to me because the things that made this country great, that created the wealth of this country, and I mean the wealth of every single person right down the line, the best medical care in the world, the best housing in the world, that's why people want to come here, is because of the system, and that's the free enterprise system."

We just got a new Yale reach, which nobody likes because it times out way too fast, and the horn is really obnoxious. I thought we were going all Crown, then this thing shows up. Whatever.
Cavuto is questionable. We need to go all in for Trump
Plank #2 of the Communist Manifesto: A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.
AOC’s 70% tax on “the rich” comes to mind.
The MMU's too. And watch those RTV's, okay?
Cal Berkeley is the best undergraduate Engineering Degree you can get where most of your professors are TA’s, because the “professors” are too busy “publishing and doing government-funded research.”
When I was at Cal the notable exception to that mantra, was Dr. Edward Teller, Father of the Hydrogen Bomb, who taught Physics 10, Sorority Girl Physics i.e Physics for non-physical science majors. It was too bad for those of us who were physical science majors, because he was an amazing lecturer.
Bernie Marcus bump for later....
Meanwhile, Cavuto relentlessly bitches about Trump.
Frankfurt School. Long March.
Nothing new. Look it up.

yes they are
Home Depot creates Socialists.
Big cities create lesser retail and service jobs, not middle class jobs and the rich shun better middle class protections for manufacturing.
Billionaires like the Home Depot owners create lesser “guest” workers. What the heck is a guest anything? Why not guest billionaires.
Billionaires are the stupid people of society that attract Socialism as a way to shift their costs on to society with bad policy like guests, human trafficking, illegals and low pay retail jobs.
Home Depot has not produced a single product they sell.
They buy slave China products.
They merely distribute.
They do not create.
You rich only had their money for a short time.
Billionaires be stupid.
Happens at our store on LI.
Most older people do not realize that 50% of young Americans are non-white.
Young white students are only a little more to the Left than their parents.
Their parents vote 60% Republican.
The kids vote 55% Republican.
Common in Florida. Maybe you had the evening shift?
