Exclusive: White House preparing draft national emergency order and identified $7 billion for wall

Washington (CNN)The White House is preparing a draft proclamation for President Donald Trump to declare a national emergency along the southern border and has identified more than $7 billion in potential funds for his signature border wall should he go that route, according to internal documents reviewed by CNN. Trump has not ruled out using his authority to declare a national emergency and direct the Defense Department to construct a border wall as Congress and the White House fight over a deal to end the government shutdown.

I figured he was giving them a chance to work and reasons to justify declaring a national emergency. Now he can truthfully state he tried and they would not cooperate so he was left no other option.

Why can't Trump just do similar with border security ?

I have an idea. Whenever Trump makes an announcement that he is authorizing money to build the war, he should remind the public that Obama approved $1.7 billion (in 3 secret flights) in foreign currency be transferred to Iran. Obama didn’t tell Congress ahead of time that he was doing the money transfer. I don’t believe he reported this to the IRS either. The Bank Secrecy Act requires that any person who receives more than $10,000 in a single cash transaction (or series of transactions) must report the exchange to the IRS.

This could be a way to find a leaker. Not to give leftist a clue but a lot of illegal leaking could be focused back to leaker by seeing which info was leaked where.
