All you peeps getting tons of rain......we’ve had NONE this month. Everything is so dry and dusty and it doesn’t bode well for a decent lawn if we don’t get some soon. There just ought to be a way to SHARE! LOL!

Enjoy this awesome story.

December, 1943: A badly damaged American bomber struggles to fly over wartime Germany. At the controls is twenty-one-year-old Second Lieutenant Charlie Brown. Half his crew lay wounded or dead on this, their first mission. Suddenly, a Messerschmitt fighter pulls up on the bombers tail. The pilot is German ace Franz Stiglerand he can destroy the young American crew with the squeeze of a trigger...
What happened next would defy imagination and later be called the most incredible encounter between enemies in World War II.
The U.S. 8th Air Force would later classify what happened between them as top secret. It was an act that Franz could never mention for fear of facing a firing squad. It was the encounter that would haunt both Charlie and Franz for forty years until, as old men, they would search the world for each other, a last mission that could change their lives forever.

That was our situation for 2 solid years, 2016 through 1st half of 2018.
I have a well.
For the first time in three years I’m waiting for the water to warm up before I get into the shower. WOOHOO!

It’s good that you have a well. Should be really full by now. Or do they fill up? Don’t know much about wells.

Ooooo! Sunny! Must be nice! We had a little yesterday before clouds rolled in, and now we’re drowning again. At least we had temps in the 50s for two days but we’re heading to the deep freeze again.
No, Clara didn’t pass. This is the other house on the farm that was built for her sister when she moved back to TN after her husband passed. It was built in ‘91 so is much newer than the one we live in. A nice house too. We really don’t need to keep it so it’s for sale. Someone’s already interested in it so it needs to be emptied out.
Thank goodness it isn’t cluttered like Clara’s but there’s still a lot of stuff to bag and box up. *sigh*
Have a good supper with your son?

Hey there, Kathy.
No weather improvement here. It’s been raining like crazy all day and it’s still pouring. The temp will drop like a stone by morning and stay cold through the weekend. *sigh*
So you’re going to get more rain, too, huh? Luverly. Been a splendid winter, hasn’t it?

I imagine we’d both love to share some of our “feast” to help with your “famine”. LOL
I thought I’d need a boat to take cats to the vet this afternoon. *glub*
Did your poor kittehs ever leave their warm spots to eat?
