If his story is true, then hats of to him.
BUT if his story is false, hes going to be in a world of sh*t.
Have at it, veterans!
He’s a close drum beater
A Marine who’s also a recon Ranger.Neat trick since Rangers are all Army personal.
Even the Washington Compost is correcting this "mistake".
If he’s truly a combat veteran, then absolutely hats off to him for his service. But that doesn’t make everything he does right.
If he’s lying about his service, may God have mercy on him, because true veterans will have none. Stolen valor is a serious thing.
Can you say “stolen valor”? Let’s see the DD214 and the records of his “service”. I think he is an under-the-bridge veteran. That’s the only kind he is.
“A Marine whos also a recon Ranger.Neat trick since Rangers are all Army personal.”
Actually not. I knew a Marine who went to Ranger school. Also Marine sniper school. Transferred to the Army and became an Army Apache helicopter pilot, then did the pilot rescue missions. Helluva career.
Chief Slinging Bull was in Blumenthal’s Recon Ranger Marines.
On one level it doesn’t really matter if this guy’s story checks out or not. The kid literally did nothing wrong at all. Where there is value in Nathan Phillips (an Indian culturally appropriating an Anglo name) is in permanently attaching him to people like Rich Lowry, Jay Nordlinger, Ross Douthat, and the rest of the soy boys at National Review. He’s a leftwing nutcase, and they chose him. Let’s see how it works out for them.
The autism unamerican stateslime should never even be printed or posted on the web...
But they would never all themselves Recon Rangers.
Paging Billy Ray Valentine, AKA Agent Orange.
“Once you have a man with no legs, you never go back, baby.”
Now, post # 11 is funny!!!
Chief Stolen Valor failed in his quest to get a white racist cracker take a swing or chest bump him or anything else.
Instead, Sandmann just smiled at him, and for that smirk he was crucified.
Imagine if Sandman had punched him (fake indian goal.)
Don Shipley (former Navy Seal who busts guys for stolen valor) has a video on YouTube that says his real name is Nathan Stanard and served four years in Kansas, Nebraska and California - as a basic electrician. Went UA a few times as well and ended up as a private.
Chief Stolen Valor was a code talker in Blumenthal’s Recon Ranger Marines.
