Nathan Phillips is the Native American Vietnam Vet who many were claiming was attacked and harassed by a bunch of evil, white, Catholic, high school kids in MAGA hats at the March for Life on Saturday. As more information became available it seemed clear (unless you work for CNN) that Phillips was the one who instigated the ordeal and the kids really didnt do anything.
Good times.
Interestingly enough, a few people on Twitter tried to connect the dots on Phillips claims of serving in Vietnam and this thread is especially fascinating. Note, we can neither confirm nor deny any of this is true or correct, but its definitely something worth reading through.

Well if he said he was a Marine and someone here said they were out of Nam in 1973 then it’s no way he was there.
I’m 64. I graduated High School in ‘73 and missed the draft by 2 weeks. It was not a popular time for the Armed Services. I was talking with the Navy recruiter in ‘74 and almost signed up but got a call-back from the local daily Newspaper and have been in print advertising ever since.
The names of those who falsely reporting this episode and because it made the media appears it was a pre planed event should be doxed and held legally accountable and publicly shamed including the Archdiocese of Covington
Much could be resolved if the media would request info readily available on his discharge papers.
Right.
I didn’t know that the Marines stayed after Saigon fell.
He is a professional, emotional, bleeding heart liberal. (Which means he is a liar but this is getting excessively over redundant.) He stirs the pot for his livelihood.

...and I highly doubt the 2 (or more) ANTIFA incident filmers were there by coincidence.
Fire water.
“If 64, why does he look 94?”
Lot of dope smoking.
At the start of the [February 22, 2018 prayer] walk, Phillips had just turned 64 years old. DAPL stepped on my birthday cake, he said.
His birthday is in the middle of February, 1955. And he had just turned 63 years old. :-)

What he did the Military has no bearing on his behavior here.
Being a Veteran does not grant immunity for reprehensible civic behavior.
As usual, everyone is looking at the shiny object instead of what is really going on.
On the YouTube Comments of the initial video, the Leftists were going on and on about the Indian serving in Vietnam, the same kind of people who spit on returning Vietnam Veterans. Hypocrites grasping at straws to damage some Teenagers, what a surprise.
There is a link in a piece on FR. In 2007 he said his service was 1 year AFTER the Vietnam War.
I figured he was a stolen valor dude.
Most of his various data records say otherwise.
1955.
Seriously? Point out an incongruity in someone’s claim and I’m attacking a tribal indigenous person? I also, along with some of my tribal friends hate the term “Native American”. They’re members of a tribe.
PS:Are you what is called “a troll”?
I am a retired Army Field Grade Officer, post Vietnam. I have never heard the term “recon ranger.” I have seen stolen valor and the point made in the tweets about stolen valor artists never claiming to have a menial job in the military but always the top of the line position in Rangers, SEALs, etc matches this guys alleged autobiography. And of course he fits the picture the media and lunatic left searches for so he is their new poster boy. It smells very fishy to me.
Yes, but they are using the Vietnam thing to build a “force field” around the guy to immunize him from criticism. The same way John Kerry tried to do it. Thank God for the Swift Boat Veterans.
