President Trump on Thursday appeared to deny military aircraft to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for a foreign trip just minutes before the congressional delegation was set to depart, in a stunning response to her call to delay the State of the Union address amid the government shutdown.
In a curt letter, Trump said her trip has been “postponed.”
“Due to the Shutdown, I am sorry to inform you that your trip to Brussels, Egypt, and Afghanistan has been postponed. We will reschedule this seven-day excursion when the Shutdown is over. In light of the 800,000 great American workers not receiving pay, I am sure you would agree that postponing this public relations event is totally appropriate,” Trump wrote.
“I also feel that, during this period, it would be better if you were in Washington negotiating with me and joining the Strong Border Security movement to end the Shutdown. Obviously, if you would like to make your journey by flying commercial, that would certainly be your prerogative.”
According to sources, the president pulled the plug on her aircraft as she was about to leave for her overseas trip. Her congressional delegation military aircraft was slated to leave at 3 p.m. ET.

He should not have gone along with Ryan's first unbalanced budget. He should not have signed anything for the 'pubs without wall funding. Did he think Pelosi and her coven would give him anything? Why? They have nothing to lose. Now that President Trump is chasing away Deplorables, the Dems will win everything.

That was my first thought too - he beat her at her own game. And he made her look like a silly, witchy old fool in front of the rest of the the House. And the Dem press, who are gasping for breath after this punch.
He needs to call more attention to the main question: why, if everything is so urgent and on the brink of catastrophe, as the Dems claim, is Pelosi simply gadding off on a junket? With other Dem House members, probably making them not only unable to negotiate but taking away the numbers they need for a vote.

He has the luxury of knowing that Trump is not going to back down, so he gets to look like the good cop.

Even if a judge did this I can think of 3 ways to stop the travel. Probably more.
Ignore the ruling
Stop the pilots from taking the controls. (He is commander-in- chief.)
Shut down the airport tower for a while.
Remove all liquor and attendants. (safety concerns)
And shut down her private plane flying privileges esp carrying friends and relatives back and forth to California.
If she wants to catch a ride on a scheduled flight, fine. Anybody beside her pays first class fares.
