President Trump hosted a number of Republican and Democratic House lawmakers at the White House Wednesday to negotiate over border security and end the ongoing government shut down.
“The President and his team had a constructive meeting with bipartisan members of the problem solvers caucus. They listened to one another and now both have a good understanding of what the other wants. We look forward to more conversations like this,” Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said about the meeting.

In an opinion piece describing No Labels, co-chairs Huntsman and Joe Lieberman described the Problem Solvers Caucus as "dozens of members of Congress, fostering collaboration and teamwork across party lines. These members of Congress have listened to the message, liked what they heard and are committed to an elevated level of cross-party cooperation."
Ahead of the meeting, the Problem Solver Democrats insisted the government must be reopened before real negotiations can begin. President Trump has repeatedly rejected this proposal.

The RATS could reopen the government by funding The Wall protecting our freedoms from invaders who are changing our way of life by electing corrupt communists as they did in their previous countries.
This is a big Plus for DJT. He met with the Problem solvers trying to start working something out. Pelosi and Schumer did nothing but spout their crap.

This has been tried by Republicans for most my adult life. Giving Dems what they want up front has never worked for Republicans yet.

Time and time again when the Republicans gave something to the Democrats, with the understanding that the Democrats would reciprocate, the Democrats just took and didn’t give anything in return. We finally have a Republican president who understands this and won’t accept being taken advantage of.

I will always remember George HW Bush dealing with Tip O’Neill and other Democrat leaders finally broke down and agreed to sign legislation on new taxes if they would agree to cutting a hunk of spending. The Tax bill passed and was signed, the slashing of expenses never happened and the President went down the tube as they reminded America of his former pledge, “No New Taxes,” hundreds of times, ceaselessly. Democrats are just plain dishonest, it’s in their DNA.

I listened to Harry Carry for over 60 years. I know who he is.
I also understand the nuances of hari cari.
While I will attribute the mass amnesty squarely to the Democrats, the Democrats forced Reagan into a compromise he did not want at all, and it did result in something.
It resulted in 20-30 million more democrat voters, at taxpayer expense, further exploded the size of government, and pushed us headlong toward full blown socialism!
Democrats really are liars, criminals, and slave owners at heart!
