We actually went to the lake earlier in the day. Had a great time out there. Gizmo didn’t do too much. The guys from Lowe’s arrived right before our sunset bedtime with the new fridge.

It’s a good thing you didn’t wait for them to deliver the fridge. You’d have missed out on the lake altogether.

The only time I was in Raleigh was when my flight to VA was grounded for a blizzard when I was going to visit my son. We stayed in a hotel, but I do remember how pretty the drive to and from the airport was, even with snow on the ground.
I think I could live in TN. But not in Jackson Hole. It's 0!!! degrees there right now. Ugh!
Anyway, I'd better head out. I've watched several shows and now have a headache and my eyes hurt. See ya tomorrow for the quiz. Yay!

Raleigh was a great city in the ‘70s when I lived there. Large enough to offer a lot in the way of entertainment but it had a small-town feel to it as far as people being friendly.
The Research Triangle Park destroyed it by bringing on people from all over to work in the different industries built there and I was more than ready to leave when I did. It grew way too fast. I’ve been back once since I left and didn’t recognize it. It was awful.
The countryside around it is very pretty - similar to this area. What was really nice was a couple hours drive to the east and you’re at the ocean. A couple hours west and you’re in the mountains. Great for weekend get-aways either way.
It can get a bit toasty here at times during summer but not as bad as GA, where you’ve lived before. It really is nice having 4 seasons and having so much greenery .... aaaaaaah. I could never live in the desert - not due to the heat but due to the lack of “green”.
As for Jackson Hole, I’m with you. NOPE! LOL
Sleep well. Catch ya tomorrow for the quiz.

I have been there in my duties a few times. Really nice if you have a family. Really boring if you are single.

Happy Tuesday, E...((HUGS))...any stump jumping planned for today? New fridge up and operating as it should?
You and Gizmo have a fun Tuesday.

Laughlin dependents of school age were bused to Del Rio schools. I matriculated at Del Rio Junior High and Del Rio High School. I used to fish on the water reservoirs East of the base that were past the golf course. I lived there from 1962 to 1968.

Good Morning Kathy (((HUGS))) - I’ll get notification on Thursday if I need to show up. I can sit on reserve at home and still get paid my daily rate or fly to Denver and hope for a trip. Lots of weather delaying or canceling flights. I like to give trips to married pilots since they need the money the most.

Let's take a air trip today! ✈️
Since we're learning about an Air Force Base...
...it makes sense and will be fun!
Me? I'd take my flight to WY.
I'd love to see my kids. :)
Actually, there are a lot of places I'd love to visit.
But here I sit at the kitchen table.
With my tea. ☕️
Hope all y'all have a Terrific Tuesday!
Don't work TOO hard!
((((hugs))))
