Tulsi Gabbard also supported Trump’s withdrawal from Syria, has confronted the DC war clique, pointing out the many problem’s caused by Obama’s assassination of Khaddafy, as well as the manufactured confrontation with Russia.

I’d struggle to call her a contender, she’s an obscure personage on the political fringe.
And her previous correct position on fags is hardly a secret or falsehood her opponents needed to unearth or concoct.

Typical. Same sex marriage isn’t controversial, conversion therapy is.
Say what you will about her but she is not bat $hit crazy leftist like AOC and has stood up to her own party at times plus the neocons as well.
She also just stood up to the disparaging remarks Harris and the other one made about the Knights of Columbus.

I’ve agreed with a lot of what she has said myself. If she was Republican and pro-life, I could support her.
TPTB are apparently as scared of her as they are of Trump.

It’s not just the Democrats, but a lot of others in this country have changed their Outlook regarding LBGTQ. Just 10 -15 years ago even Hillary & Obama were against same sex marriage. No longer! And more and more Americans are accepting the same, and so are other countries. I do not like this trend. It is abnormal at best.

As I said, she has a number of dealbreaker positions. I’d vote for her over Willard though, who lacks any of her qualities, and has all the same failures.
Didn’t take long for the Dirty Trick campaign to come out on her. This is going to be an enjoyable democratic primary race to watch.
In 2012, when running for Congress, Gabbard apologized to LGBT activists in Hawaii for her past comments.
“I want to apologize for statements that I have made in the past that have been very divisive and even disrespectful to those within the LGBT community,” Gabbard said. “I know that those comments have been hurtful and I sincerely offer my apology to you and hope that you will accept it.”
Since joining Congress in 2013, Gabbard has supported efforts to promote LGBT equality, including co-sponsoring pro-LGBT legislation like The Equality Act, a bill to amend the 1964 Civil Rights Act to protect LGBT individuals.
