Incoming Leftist Gov. Gavin Newsom of California, in his inaugural speech on Monday, fired a broadside against the rule of law: At his direction, the state will continue to openly defy Washington’s authority on a number of issues, further weakening federalism and bringing our country one step closer to open rebellion.
In his speech, Newsom slammed an Obama-era policy that the Trump administration ended — child separation at the border — then slammed the president’s proposed border wall despite the fact that Border Patrol agents have testified that they work.
He then pledged that California will provide “sanctuary to all who seek it” regardless of their legal status just a week after a police corporal in his state was buried after being gunned down by an illegal alien criminal who was in custody but let go rather than turned over to immigration authorities, as federal law requires.

Kevin De león admitted on the floor of the Cal senate, he assisted his illegal family members to come and stay here. AC Becera threatened businesses if they cooperate with ICE. The mayor of oakland gave out information about ICE raids in advance endangering the ice officers and neighbors where the raids took place, No investigations, no arrests, no indictments from the trump administration. So nothing will be done about newsmen either. Same shit, same sanctuary, different governor.

Challenge? The only challenge would be seeing how fast the Feds can gather up all of the illegals that they can find and ship them across the California borders. Any illegals caught outside of California (or any other “sanctuary” state) will be chipped for future identification and immediately deported.
I can remember when I envied those who lived in California.

Sanctuary status is an invitation to illegal to come live in California. The goal is to increase their census count, which translates to more House seats in Congress. Think of the impact of having 5 million illegals add to a liberal state’s census count. 7 more House seats.
Every adult bringing a child across the border illegally is gilty of Child abuse and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
If the child is sick or dies, the crome becomes a felony.
The Governor of California just seceeded from the Union
His state must be nationalized and be given the status of Territory
The govenor et al must be detained in a compound on say Keajalien or Rota or some other easily protected distant location.
Since California is no longer a state, the Congressional Representatives and Senators are out of a job.
Ditto all Federal judges
Of course, to liberals, "all" means "not you".
Unless you have something like an eagle feather or bumpstock then Obama’s Justice Dept./FBI is not interested. Harboring fugitives from justice? Couldn’t care less. Tipping off criminals about a pending law enforcement raid? Couldn’t care less.
I left years ago. I am so glad.
