Newly sworn-in Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib electrified progressives with her passionate declaration that she and her colleagues will " impeach the mother******" — the "mother*****," of course, being President Trump.
Democratic leaders were embarrassed that a high-profile freshman would speak so frankly in public. But hours before Tlaib spoke, on the first day of Democratic control of the House, another Democrat, Rep. Brad Sherman, filed a resolution of impeachment. Sherman's resolution was later co-sponsored by another colleague, Democratic Rep. Al Green.
The efforts by Sherman and Green, who filed his own articles in 2017, and another House Democrat, Rep. Steve Cohen, who also introduced articles in Trump's first months in office, are nothing new. Nor are those efforts a lonely quest. In an early 2018 procedural vote, 66 Democrats voted in favor of moving an impeachment measure forward.
But on what grounds, specifically, do the pro-impeachment Democrats intend to remove the president? The new Sherman/Green resolution, and Green's and Cohen's resolutions from last year, are not exactly a comprehensive recounting of Trump's alleged offenses. Sherman's is based entirely on the president's firing of FBI Director James Comey and the Comey memos, while Green's articles seek to remove Trump for "sowing discord among the people of the United States" with his comments on Charlottesville, transgender troops, and Muslim immigration. (In an earlier version, Green also sought to impeach Trump for statements about Rep. Frederica Wilson and NFL players who do not stand for the national anthem.) Cohen's articles rehashed much of Sherman's obstruction allegation while adding a charge that Trump violated the Constitution's emoluments clause, plus articles seeking to remove Trump for tweeting about federal judges and calling some press organizations "fake news."

They want to impeach him because he’s a better President than anyone they could produce and he has undone most of the garbage the Marxist previous dem President laid down on America.
They hate him because they can’t control him and he isn’t part of the establishment even though he’s one of the rich guys. They can’t stand not finding something they can use against him for leverage. He’s clean and they hate clean people. The left likes dirty people like themselves. Dirty. Dirty. Dirty.
For him not to be President any more. That’s about it. I bet some of them are so stupid they think that if they remove him from office, Hillary becomes President.
Democrats do not want to impeach the President
They want to get constituent credit for talking about impeaching the President.
They know it. We know it. Most importantly, Trump knows it.
Even if the House Democrats do manage to cobble together a flimsy set of reasons, they will set the precedent for impeachment (for political purposes) of every succeeding president, thus diluting the whole concept of impeachment as a thing to be taken seriously.

The leftist agenda is what is. All else, is what isn’t. It is illegal, immoral and must be eliminated. Any means are justified.
Trump is thus illegal and must be removed or jailed.
And because he is not Obama. It is much deeper than that though, they were one coffin nail (Hillary’s presidency) from reaching their socialist agenda and calling it “the people’s mandate”. Obama had it all set up, including the government being infiltrated with liberals) and Hillary would have finished us off.

The dems want to impeach Trump strictly because they don’t like him and don’t want him to have the power they believe belong to them... they have convinced themselves the people cannot select our President...that it should be the dem party to do that. I call this strictly political and power hungry congress who have been there way too long.
Now compare that to the President thinking about declaring an emergency to get that border closed and a barrier put up. The emergency: thousands of illegals storming our border, breaking down gates demanding they have what they want, on their way to our border. Throwing rocks at our guards, trying to break past the human barrier on the southern border. Carrying the flags of the country they came from. Using children as their passage into our country.. Transporting and sellng humans as a business.. especially children. Drugs of all kinds are being brought in and sold on our streets. We don’t know who these people are and they come in to be taken care of by our tax dollars. When any get past the guards and enter the US illegally, it brings in more caravans of thousands who want to try their luck at getting in.
Compare that to any reasoning for impeachment! There are no grounds.. they just want their power back and they hate the one man who is not of their clan and somehow took over their seat. How dare he! and ‘we aren’t going to let him have his wall or any other success.. we’ll see to it he is attacked every day and stop any successes’.
That’s what the dims offer to the people of the United
states! I hear the congresspersons often say “doing the work for the people”.. they have no intentions of doing anything for the people... they serve only themselves!
