Joe diGenova: 'Cardinal' James Comey -- The man who destroyed the FBI
foxnews.com ^ | 1/6/2019 | JOE DIGENOVA

Posted on 01/06/2019 9:47:37 PM PST by bitt

Wyatt Earp. Elliot Ness. J. Edgar Hoover. Inspector Clouseau. James Comey. The names reflect a continuum of greatness to farce and mediocrity. In the annals of U.S. law enforcement, no individual has reached the depths of disgrace as James “Cardinal” Comey.

The “Cardinal” was a sobriquet FBI agents used to denigrate their leader. As Deputy Attorney General, he was called “drama queen.” Known for his pomposity and self-regard, Comey cut a swath of arrogance unknown in either of those illustrious organizations. He was the cult of personality. He surrounded himself with sycophants, people dedicated to his promotion and their advancement. The Bureau and the public became the losers.

James Comey politicized the FBI, America’s premier law enforcement agency. It started on July 6, 2016, when he usurped the authority of Attorney General Loretta Lynch in violation of the Constitution, the law and DOJ regulations.

He destroyed Hillary’s campaign when he unethically and unprofessionally described her conduct with pejorative words such as “criminal” and then illegally exonerated her of the crimes.

President Obama should have fired him that day. But he did not. Why? Perhaps because he had knowledge of Hillary’s avoidance of any protected email channels because he communicated with her on her private server using a pseudonym.

Comey is a poseur. He pretends to be Thomas Becket but he is, in fact, the assassin, Henry II. He claims in his memos he doesn’t do sneaky things, leak or do weasely things. Yet in his interview with Fox News’ Bret Baier he pretended not to know what a leak is.

The president performed a public service by firing him. He should have done it the day after his inauguration.

Obama should have fired him? Why Comey was doing everything he could to advance the Obama/Hillary cabal and destroy America as rapidly as possible.

My outsider’s impression of Comey is that he is one extremely slippery character.

He’s turned surviving into an art form, and is highly skilled in ducking, bobbing and weaving in the highest levels of the political arena. He is the ultimate DC insider and deep-state politician.

Of course he’s absolutely untrustworthy - but his slipperiness even goes beyond that. He’s nearly impossible to pin and destroy, and you won’t realize he’s stung you until long after he’s slithered away.

Whoever wrote this sounds like they don’t remember J. Edgar Hoover, who is apparently”unknown” to this writer but not to many of us older citizens.

Wasn’t Mr. Comey “touring” Iowa not long ago (but long before Senator Warren) along with Facebook’s MotherZ*****?

Trump missed his opportunity to restore the rule of law. He could have taken Comey’s report on clinton and said, we accept the factual findings of her crimes, but we disagree with Comey. She will be indicted.

He has no integrity or honor, and this has become the norm in American government - and it clearly isn’t just Democrats. Government has become the playground of arrogant snots.

So, IOW, he was a perfect fit for his boss. They sound just alike.

Let’s not forget who was the Director of the FBI before Comey: Mueller.

By interogating the president without congress authority, he comitted sedition. Indicting a President is not constitutionally legal.

The FBI has been corrupt since it was founded. Maybe the agents at the bottom were not, or not all. But the FBI has a long history of corruption and incompetence.

"In the annals of U.S. law enforcement, no individual has reached the depths of disgrace as James “Cardinal” Comey."

___________

When I think of Long Tall Sally James Comey I think of anals not annals.

Comey is a very slimy, low character creature.

Not only did Comey destroy the FBI, but he set up a political racketeering network dedicated to the usurpation of a duly elected President of the United States.

As such he is a racketeer and influence peddling criminal who should be investigated and prosecuted under RICO. He has a whole network set up and we are now familiar with them all, and now is the time to prosecute them all, Ohr and wife, Strzok, Clapper , Fusion GPS,Comey, and a bevy of others.

Put them in the clink, seize their property and auction it off.

The high point of Comey’s life was putting Martha behind bars.
