Jose Canseco’s political aspirations know no bounds. According to his most recent social media activity, even the office of President of the United States is in his sights.
When last we left you, the former Oakland Athletics star was eyeing the position of president Donald Trump’s chief of staff. His offer to help his “little buddy” came in the aftermath of John Kelly announcing his decision to step down as chief of staff in February, and Trump’s top choice to replace Kelly, Nick Ayers, turning the job down. Now, after an overwhelming groundswell of eye rolls and “sure thing, Jose’s,” Canseco is seemingly upgrading his political aspirations to the United States’ highest office. Yes, he actually mentioned the possibility of running for president, and he’s even using his own baseball history to justify his bid.

Back when he was playing for Texas he was also dating Madonna.
Saturday afternoon at Yankee Stadium, Texas in town and Canseco playing left field, a blow-up sex doll came sailing out of the bleacher seats and landed a few feet from him - the whole stadium erupted with "MADONNA, MADONNA!" chants - now THAT was funny....
Maybe he’ll make Mark McGwire his running mate.

At least he was born in this hemisphere, like the Canadian Cuban senator, instead of in Africa like Obama.
