Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham said on Sunday that withdrawing US troops from Syria could directly result in the deaths of Kurdish people there and that he plans to make a case to President Donald Trump today to reconsider his plans.

"There are three things important for this country. Number one, make sure that ISIS never comes back in Syria," Graham said to CNN's Dana Bash on "State of the Union." "We need to keep our troops there. They're inside the ten-yard line in defeating ISIS, but we're not there yet. If we leave now, the Kurds are going to get slaughtered."

"How are you going to convince President Trump to do that?" Bash asked.

Leaving our troops there could lead to their deaths.

Had high hopes that Lindsey had finally smelled the coffee. I was wrong.

President trump stated just days ago that we are NOT nation-builders.

The “Kurds” will have to fight for themselves, since it is a “tribal” affair.

Are more Kurds are killed by other people living in Syria than by ISIS?

That’s the standard we use for keeping illegals in the US...

And some Americans’ lives could be saved. An acceptable trade off imho. If they can’t finish when the ball is “inside the ten yard line” then maybe they don’t deserve to prevail.

Perhaps if Senator Graham himself, or one of his own children or grandchildren, were serving on the front lines, he would have a very different point of view.

“Seems they never worry about American lives.....in any way anymore.”

Did “they” ever worry about American lives? I’m really beginning to wonder. In essence the patriotic young people than join the military are just pawns in the scheme of commie globalism. The Soros’s, Bushie’s, Clintons and the hordes of others could give a rats rear end about them.

Our troops are not fighting but keeping Kurdish moral and training. Sometime because we have no legal reason to occupy land in Syria we will have to leave. Congress must approve this police action and the President to sign to continue or else we have no Constitution.

When all this, "protect the Kurds" BS doesn't work, they'll go quiet for a few months then start in on how we have to go back into Syria to protect our "brother" Turks in NATO.

After all, an attack on one NATO member is an attack on all NATO members.

They'll try anything they can think of to keep the Syria graft pipeline open. Afghanistan, too, and Afghanistan is three quarters of our opioid problem with US troops guarding the root of that problem.

The place is a waste of money, time and American lives. Build the damn Wall instead. Let’s protect OUR borders for once.

How many ‘speeches’ did Graham make in the ME?
