Dear Lindsey
Your lack of political will and power and failure to seriously ever create an independent nation called Kurdistan has already killed too many Kurds

The world is not going to take chunks of Syria Iraq Turkey and Iran and draw new borders and maps

Stop lying to them about how if they fight ISIS we will support their fight for ‘ independence’ much less send Americans to die for it

It is up to the regional govts to assure the protection of minority cultures within the borders of existing nations
Offer Syria money to build a Wall on the Turkish border to protect Syrian Kurds from attack
Or break relations with Turkey

Now seriously, STOP romanticing noble warrior cultures as a preeminent US national security interest
Or resign from the Senate and go be a merc

Maybe those Kurds need to apologize to Assad and throw in with the home team.

The presence of American troops does not foreclose the high probability of Kurdish deaths, especially in the face of the hostility from the Turks.

The Turks can TRY to suppress the Kurds, but only to their own great personal peril. The is a lesson they shall have to learn for themselves.

There is nothing to prevent a clandestine transfer of arms and war materials to the Kurds.

In fact, one of our policy aims should be to be favoring the establishment of a homeland for the Kurds, carved out of Turkey, Syria, Iraq and Iran, and parts of the old Soviet Union, Azerbaijan.

I understand Graham was part of this whole Arab spring thing with McStain, and do get his point about not abandoning Kurds in the area. However, this has turned into an effing mess.

It's certain that they need to apologize to the Armenian People for the Genocide and to the American people for the hard line Communism.

A friend in need is a friend indeed.

Islam leads to Kurdish deaths.

Let them police their own country and deal with the terrorists themselves.

Not that leaving our troops there could lead to Ametican deaths...or anything.

Yeah, that's what we should do, more Nation Building, it's worked so well in the past.

If we coordinated this with Syria that would have resolved the Kurd security issue. The Kurds have lived under Syrian rule forever. Turkey will slaughter them if given the chance.

Oh, the United States does not build the nation. Only the Kurds can do that. We simply provide whatever umbrella for them to proceed with their plans.

So far as we are concerned, we do not care if the Kurds establish a socialist state, a military state, or even a by-gosh real representative republic, we are not concerned with their internal politics. But like the Ukraine, the integrity of the newly established boundaries SHOULD be our concern.

We aren’t doing just a bang-up job with the Ukraine, either. However, Israel is doing all right for itself, while the “Palestine” entity languishes.

True.

The Kurds have lived under Syrian rule forever.

I will add: With little conflict with the Syrian Government or any other Syrian group.

Turkey will slaughter them if given the chance.

Should this be claimed as a surprise by the US, considering the history of Turkey's aggression against Christians, Greece, in the Ottoman Empire, the Allies in WWI & WWII, the Armenians, the Ataturk reformists, and their current Islamic Extremist Dictatorship?

Unfortunately (for them) the Kurds placed their bets on American "Arab Spring" Globalist Traitors who wanted Assad dead and the Muslim Brotherhood Terrorists running Syria, but their whorse lost.

The world is unfair.

Great idea, America, Muscle for Hire to establish the "Government" that "You" want.

It's worked so well in Iran, Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Syria, Kosovo, Georgia, Ukraine, et all.

Or not.

That is never going to happen
Ever
Do you think those countries are going to give up land and move borders?

Our supposed beef over Crimea is the argument about moving borders
Our takedown of Saddam was premised on his trying to change a map among other rationales

You think those countries are going to agree to having their oilfields carved out and given to “ Kurdistan” or that Turkey is willing to create a nation of Kurds using some of its land?

This is what makes this entire business of arming kurds to fight for independence such a big lie
The kurds, in the grand geopolitical scheme, are agents of chaos to destabilize who we call despots

I don’t care enough about “the Kurds” to risk a single American GI’s life on them. They will NEVER have a state so long as Turkey is in NATO. So what is the point of all this? If Linda wants us to go to war for the Kurds, then put it to a vote in the Congress! You have that power. It will fail, but you have that right.

I agree, and you are right, I hadn't thought of it, but Grahamnesty should write a bill authorizing President Trump to go to war to assure a Kurdish Nation, and see if it even goes to committee.

It would be thrilling if PDJT advised Linda to that end, publicly with the media present and rolling.
