Many questioned anti-Second Amendment activist David Hoggs acceptance to Harvard, which he announced via Twitter on Saturday, considering that he openly complained about his high school grades and the fact that he achieved only a 1270 on his SAT test.
David Hogg is heading to Harvard despite an SAT score of 1270. The bottom 25% at Harvard have an average SAT score of 1460, College Fix noted.
But still, the left wing media swooned after Hogg announced that he was headed to the Ivy League school in Cambridge, Mass.
Thank you all for the well wishes, Ill be attending Harvard in the fall with a planned major in Political Science, he said.

You should thank them! They did her (and you) a favor!
What a loser
I got into Chem E at Cal Berkeley and not only had 1580 but took the SATs for a doxñzen friends and got them 1500s as well
Kids. Study a REAL SUBJECT at school. Not political garbage
I wasn’t aware Harvard had a mentally handicapped enrollment for those like D. Hogg. I wonder where they catch the short bus to get to school daily. How very progressive of Harvard to nurture the hate and anger in the face-punchable Hogg.
Yep, Hogg may be a mental midget, but he isn’t afraid to speak publicly and he does have a certain flair that can be molded into the perfect little commie leadership helper. Never to lead of course; just be a motivator of sorts. This free’s up the commie leadership to do what they prefer; sit around in their bath houses diddling themselves.
I don’t believe that statistic about the bottom 25% is correct. When a number for the 25% quartile is quoted for a college like that, that generally means that students at the 25% level of the overall student body have that score.
You’ve got loads of affirmative-action students scoring much lower, but not enough to make the score for the middle of the bottom half of the class — which is what the 25% represents—that low.
It all worked out. I would have to pay for Harvard. instead she went to Lehigh on a full scholarship. Eleven interviews, 11 job offers.
It’s important to point out to the older crowd that the point system isn’t the same as it used to be on the SAT. When I went it was max 1600 - 800 math, 800 critical reading/vocabulary. Then it went to 2400 with a 3rd section. Now the Max is back to 1600, but it’s 800 math and 800 “evidence based reading & writing”...gone apparently is the old vocabulary section ... oh and there is an optional essay section scored seperately.
Scoring also used to have a penalty for an incorrect answer - such that it was better not to answer then get it incorrect if you weren’t sure. Now there is no penalty.
Probably should have read their study offerings first.
You go to Harvard to take Political Science? Doh!
Where did she go to college?
So to review: below average intelligence; below average education; complete lack of shame; zero integrity.
He has a big future in the leftist 'rat party.
soetoro supposedly went there. So much for Harvard’s “academics”.
There is a big difference between being 'educated' and being 'smart'.
Lehigh University
Political science is not a genuine science, so I’m sure Hogg will take to it.
He was accepted at Harvard because he’s a radical far left insane wacko who’s obviously willing to do anything at all to promote his leftist views. He would have gotten in sooner, but he’s not Black, gay or trans.
I scored 1310 on the older SAT back in the early 80s and was accepted to one Ivy and wait-listed at another. As time moved along the SAT scores started to go up & up.
My score was border-line, at best. This kid is one of the very few Affirmative Action whites to get into the Ivy League.
Heavens, a Yale man!
Yet Harvard is ranked as Number 6 on the list of "2019 Best Political Science & Government Colleges in the U.S."
So, now there’s affirmative action for stupid kids who get on TV?
Yeah I thought they had a JFK School of Govt which Howie Carr calls Camelot High
You can always tell a Harvard man but you can’t tell him much
