NBC News is reporting – based on anonymous sources – that President Trump decided on the pullout of forces from Syria during a telephone call with Turkish leader Recep Erdogan. They are clearly appalled that a deal maker would make a deal, especially when the positions of his support staff were ignored.
President Donald Trump's decision to withdraw American troops from Syria was made hastily, without consulting his national security team or allies, and over strong objections from virtually everyone involved in the fight against the Islamic State, according to U.S. and Turkish officials.
Trump stunned his Cabinet, lawmakers and much of the world with the move by rejecting the advice of his top aides and agreeing to a withdrawal in a phone call with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan last week, two officials briefed on the matter said.
The Dec. 14 call, described by officials who were not authorized to discuss the decision-making process publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity, is a view into a Trump decision with profound consequences, including the resignation of widely respected Defense Secretary Jim Mattis.
The anti-Trump narrative remains intact with this overview. He is impetuous, stubborn, and ignorant. Evidently, it is appalling that he would ignore the advice of the foreign policy establishment because they know far more than he does, and deserve to be obeyed (because their track record is so outstanding?).

Ah. Well, this is obviously Russian Collusion.
You may think I’m kidding but I assure you some idiot Democrats are out there making this “conclusion”.
Which proves, of course, that I’m posting from Russia.
On direct orders from Putin.
And who leaked this?
I thought Trump decided to get the troops out of Syria when John Bolton couldn’t explain to him why they were there in the first place.
Well then, by all means it must be true.

So they are fake but accurate leakers of some sort?
since Turkey obviously wants to try to take over all or much of Syria..........and murder millions of Kurds and Christians there imho.....
what did Turkey supposedly offer, give USA in this
supposed “deal” to get American forces out ?
just curious.. since our PDJT is reportedly an expert on making deals... what kind of deal did he get us?
and since the Turkish dictator is such a liar .... and since his Satanic “religion” teaches him it is just fine to lie to infidels like us..... how will PDJT enforce any such deal?
Written: “without consulting his national security team or allies,”
Reality: “without consulting the swamp.”
What’s NBC? A new name for hemorrhoids?
Did they talk turkey?
Can someone tell me why American liberals want our troops to stay in Syria? Besides just to oppose Trump. I thought they always wanted out of every conflict, no troops anywhere?
This is all spin....

Amir’s update on the behind the scenes of the decision to pull the US troops out of Syria and the chain reaction to it.
Bottom line: Kurds were making deals with Assad and Iran to be able to keep “Kurdistan”. Makes sense for them, but why should we help Assad and Iran?
President Trump surprised Turkey by taking their offer to finish off ISIS. Best President Ever!
