he Supreme Court wont let the Trump administration begin enforcing a ban on asylum for any immigrants who illegally cross the U.S.-Mexico border.
New Justice Brett Kavanaugh and three other conservative justices sided with the administration.
The courts order Friday leaves in place lower court rulings that blocked President Donald Trumps proclamation in November automatically denying asylum to people who enter the country from Mexico without going through official border crossings.
Trump said he was acting in response to caravans of migrants making their way to the border.
The administration had also complained that the nationwide order preventing the policy from taking effect was too broad.
But Chief Justice John Roberts and the courts four more liberal justices rejected the administrations suggestion for narrowing it.

Remember back at that time, hoe Robert’s confirmation just sailed right through, AND how he went straight to Chief Justice? Globals had it rigged for decades.
I think a lot of us thought the SCOTUS would rule based on the Constitution not personal preference.
The dirt the DS has on Roberts has something to do with the adoption of his foreign born kids.
Trump could ignore the order? What armies does Roberts have command of?
Or he could shut down the border permanently.
Or just build the wall.
All the more reason to build THE WALL.
Here is one supreme court justice who needs to be replaced!
Obama’s “database on EVERYBODY” (Maxine Waters quote) ensured Roberts voted with the globals, same deal as with OVomitcare.
It’s past time for whatever dirt they had on him to be exposed or for him to resign. If this issue is not forced, we lose our chance to restore America. Personally, I think it’s already too late.
Fine. The Supremes have spoken.
Consider the claims of these guest felons, but lock the criminals up in prison for illegally entering our country while we consider their “claims”. Then reject their demands for asylum and send the invaders home.
Alternatively, fly them all to a remote island (perhaps off the coast of Alaska!) and store them there while processing their frivolous claims. Under no circumstances should these criminals be set free in the mainland United States. We have to find a way to keep the thugs and parasites from continuing to game the system that America’s enemies on the left created. We have to stop rewarding the lies they have been coached to tell.
Trump should release whatever it is or rip him 24/7 on Twitter. Try to get Roberts to quit. Make him cry and quit like Edmund Muskie.
“or impose any restrictions on the entry of aliens he may deem to be appropriate.”
Asylum denied.
ARREST all judges who RULE IN FAVOR OF ILLEGAL activity, including those on the SCOTUS.
But how does the deal with Mexico stop illegals from crossing the border?
What I am thinking - ignore, build the wall. If that doesn’t work, then close the border.
Trump should fly them personally on a Jumbo Jet into America.
Winner...These lawless bastards need to be rounded up in the dead of the night and sent to gitmo.
Corpseburg already died.
Her Commie law clerks are voting for her.
That's OK.
Soon, thousands and millions of conservatives will have boxes of "proxies" voting for them, too...
>>The vote is taken long before the opinion is released. After the vote, the Majority opinion is assigned and written and the Minority opinion or opinions are written. Votes can change during that period, but it rarely occurs.
NOT EVEN CLOSE to how it works. There is no vote and certainly no assignment. Only opinions that are joined. There’s no meeting; the judges (or, rather, their staff) draft opinions and go out and see who will sign on to them. You are correct about views changing and I’m betting they happen quite a bit actually.
That’s why you have opinions (usually 5 justices or more), judgments (a total of at least 5 that will agree with an outcome but not necessarily an opinion), concurring opinions (one or more justices who write separately to emphasize a point but went with either a majority or the judgment; usually meant to be a majority opinion but couldn’t get enough support), and a dissent.
The pictures of "Diddling Bob" in bed with his victims are probably even more disgusting...
Roberts!
Puke!
Go read the Federalist Papers when Hamilton talks about Article III being the most benign branch of the government...boy how he was wrong about that.
