Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, 85, underwent a lung procedure on Friday, the Supreme Court said in a release. She is "resting comfortably" at the hospital.

Even if she passes away the Democrats might try to have her hospital room locked down and Comey can hide in the curtains and poke his head out the door now and then to act as the corpse’s oracle on how she “wants” to rule in a given case. In this way she could stay on the court indefinitely - if they get her embalmed.

Still, I hope she does recover, enough to come to the realization that it's time to spend more time with Mr. Ginsburg and all the little Ginsburgs. She's done more than enough to this country in her time as a lawyer/judge/justice.
My husband had breast cancer. Surgeon thought they got it all but he had radiation treatment.

I’m a smoker since 15 (now 64) - probably set up for COPD.
My wife, also 64, quit in 1988 early when pregnant with our first but recently had a 99% blocked carotid artery cleaned out despite all her good diet, exercise, health habits, etc. for all these years. Lots of other tests which says she’s good to go top to bottom now.
I think it may simply be genes as I may survive her despite my completely opposite bodily abuse.
My twin brother (fraternal - he’s more like my dad (RIP at 76) & me more like my mom) has had grey hair for 20 years - I have a few wisps of grey hair, my gals hair is almost all white for 15 years now - not grey thank you very much(She insists - I comply ;-).
My mom is 92 and still rules the roost. She has some grey hairs too but I suspect her hairdresser may have a hand in that.
I did search at one point and studies suggest that presence or absence of grey hair does not correlate with longevity but I do wonder.
Sorry to go on - lots to do but I’m a professional procrastinator and my gal won’t be back for a couple of days still. ;-)
Really after all that, in any number of cases I’ve read where smokers quit but then died of lung cancer not long after.
Regardless, I’m surprised to still be here thus my gene theory. ;-)
My plan is to moderate but continue to challenge my body’s defenses to stay “healthy”. ;-)

That is my guess too. At her age, the whole frame could rot before you ever noticed.
She missed her chance to retire under Obama so she should probably do so now.
It seems unlikely she'll make it to 2025 by appearance and carriage alone. IMHO.

Zeke Emanuel, one of the brains behind 0bamacare said there’s no reason why anyone needs to live past 75. RBG would be over 20 years past her expiration date. Perhaps she should get her affairs in order and set an example for the rest of us.
